    Salutare pe ce functie selectati multimetru ca sa masor bobinele de inductie la fiat punto si ce valoare trebuie sa aiba bobinele noi care sunt in stare buna

      διαλέγεις πάντα την μικρότερη, το θέμα είναι ότι δεν ξέρω τις μετρήσεις σε MK1.1 55SX
      Στα 200ohm παίρνω 01.0/01.1 στο κύριο, και στον δευτερεύον 7.25/7.34 kohm
      you always go for the smaller one, the thing is i don't know the measurements on MK1.1 55SX
      At 200ohm I get 01.0/01.1 ohm on the main, and 7.25/7.34 kohm on the secondary

    Hi. Nice and needed tips. Thnx a lot :)
    What were the symptoms you were having before coil pack changing and did it fix it?

    • @drivewaydiyer6504
      @drivewaydiyer6504  7 років тому +1

      Torgut Ysi rough idle and cutting out, when hot. Look for arcing signs, white spots or melting to the casing.

      Ok.
      I got random misfire kind of stickynes when accelerated.
      Found out that some of ignition leads liked to ground on head cylinder, even when all leads looked mint condition and had good recistanses readings. Now changing leads and testing also these coil pacs as shown in your video - readings looks good.
      Thanx for vid - it helped :)

      Torgut Ysi the leads aren't well set out on these fiats and are vulnerable to wear. Fiat advise changing the plugs, when changing out the coil, there's a chance of surging if the plugs are worn and short out the coil.

      Ok, good to know. Thnx again.

    Nice video. I do not take any indications in the output lines of one coil pack, it is broken ?? on what scale of Ω meter I have to count ?

      Are you getting spark from the coil, I use setting 20k ohms. What symptoms are you getting?

      @@drivewaydiyer6504 my car started to do at some point miss fire symptoms after accelerated with low speed and some operating hours. I changed spark plugs, cables of spark and one ignition coil and symptoms of miss fire decreased ,do i have to change the other one? Car is fiat Punto mk1 sporting 1.245 16v and 160.000 km. The spark plug I did not check it.. my car was moving very little for a long time with a dropped battery, when I inserted a new battery the symptoms started after fiew weeks.

      Always change both coils, all leads and spark plugs. How long was it still for?

      @@drivewaydiyer6504 he was sitting for at least three years and go short distances with low battery. I just ordered another one now for sure. thanks for her tips.. the factory coil was champion now I will put magneti mareli.

      Something else to consider, when a car has been sitting, fresh fuel is a must, old fuel loses its potency.👍

    On the last testing in kohm, i'm getting exactly 8 kohm(8000ohm) for the two ht transformers.. and for the two coils output .. Is that meaning that i should change the two coils ? I'm getting random missfires on cylinder p0352 and sometimes on p0351... in hot weather the missfires are more present... it's fiat punto mk2 1.2 8v 44kw 2004

      Даниел Спасовски the resistance may be a little high, but check with manufacturing specs. Coils can overheat and fail, but be fine when cooler. Might be worth changing them. Change leads and plugs as well. Check for melt marks and arcing marks. Hopefully this helps

      Driveway DIYer This reading is when the car is cold.. so when is working.. surely the resistance i s higher.. so maybe that is problem.. and i have changed the leads and spark plugs.. all brand new ..

    • @drivewaydiyer6504
      @drivewaydiyer6504  6 років тому +1

      Даниел Спасовски the problem with coils is that when they are breaking down, the can be fine when cold, but fail when hot. You’re right , the hotter , higher the resistance. I have had coils fail at high speed , but fine when driving short distances. I know Fiat always recommend changing the coils when changing plugs and leads. Are you getting spark on the cylinders you have codes on.

      Driveway DIYer its not safe to check when the car is working.. so for sure im getting spark when the car is working normally ... but when i have only 3 cylinders working .. sometimes little throtlle helps the car get back working on all 4 cylinders.. and untill now.. i have 193.000 km passed.. and the coils havent been changed.. and yes sometimes on high speed im loosing power.. suddenly.. and the car is working on 3 cylinders.. the p0352 error code is always present when i have these situations..

      Даниел Спасовски you could swap the coils over and see if the code changes to a different cylinder. If it does then def the coil. If not then you should check fuel and compression.
