Love the crazy cat lady stitch!!! 😊 I made my mom a Precious Moments quilt with the fringe around the edges that used 6 strands of floss per square. I really enjoyed your finish parade because I have been stitching since the very early 80's and these patterns bring back many memories!! I have that wandering sheep chart by Lindy Stitches, yours is just lovely! Please thank your son for his service to this country, less than 1% serve. I can proudly say I am married to a Marine, Semper Fi!
I'm a Virginia girl too, living in Manassas. I love your choices of patterns to stitch, as I'm drawn to the beach too and have 5 grandkids. Keep up the videos, they are most enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.
Susan, hi there! It’s always nice meeting someone from my home state!! I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos and the items I stitch. I always want it to be interesting and fun!!! Happy stitching!!😀
Love all of your stitching!! 🩷 Appreciate that you provide the name of the pattern! Love your change to Retired!! 🤍🌞 Can't wait to be there, too!! I like your top!
The Crazy Cat Lady is on my 123Stitch wishlist, so I loved seeing yours stitched up. I don't have *that* many cats, but sometimes it feels like I do 😹. And now, Home of a Needleworker is on my wishlist, too ❤. I love how you redid the saying on your Be Calm -- fantastic!
I enjoyed your stitching so much. Loved the precious moments finish:) and you did a great job showing all the stitching so we could see it close up. Thanks forsharing.
Your finished pieces provide a look into your progression as a stitcher. I was very impressed with the stitching. And, to see your personal designs - how wonderful and unique.
Marcy, I’m glad you like it! It was the one that I was most interested in designing so it was the first one I created. I love it too…. because the house is different from most I’ve seen so far, love, love, love the lettering and the mallard ducks, just so cute! I hope you stitch it!!
Hello there Jill! Thanks so much for the kind words. I do like variety in my stitching and the FlossTube that I’ll record and post today will have even more of it in my haul! And I’m glad you like the charts I created. I am loving that part of what I do too! Happy stitching!
Enjoyed your video! You have some beautifully stitched designs and excellent choice of designs. Your created designs are fantastic and beautiful! Well done!! Happy Stitching, thanks for sharing
Hi Linda, thanks for the kind words. I’m so glad you’re enjoying what you’re seeing in my videos. And thank you for the compliment on my new designs. It’s bringing me a lot of joy to create them and then stitch them! (My Mom is so pleased that I’m finally doing something with my art!) Happy stitching!!
I loved your finishes Sharon! You completely enabled me. I've purchased the Wandering Sheep and fabric and can't wait to start. Your designs are lovedly too! Great video. :)
Hi Julie, thanks for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed them. I’ve not seen any other Floss Tuber show the Wandering Sheep. I believe I saw it as a new release from Nashville Market in 2022. It was shortly after I found Floss Tube I believe! Enjoy!
I love your videos. You're doing great. Your pieces are just lovely, and you have a varied taste in pieces just like I do. I also never thought of stitching one over two on 32ct, but your pieces look so lovely and delicate that you have changed the way I will stitch 32ct from now on. Eagerly awaiting your next video. 😊
I’m so glad you have enjoyed the videos! And 1 over 2 on 32 ct is a more fun stitching experience I think. I’d be interested in what you think after you try it…
Love all your patriotic stitching especially. I'm not much for samplers that are mostly ABC's but they are nicely stitched and colorful. See you net time.
Yay…I’m glad you like them. It’s been fun for me to convert some art/sketches that I jot down to cross stitch designs. I hope you’re having a great stitchy week!
Hi Sharon. I loved seeing your past finishes----that Precious Moments brought me right back to the 80's, lol. So cute! Between your 1st video and this one, you have completely enabled me to add at least 5 projects to my list and order 2! Last video it was Mary 395 and this video I stopped and ordered Halloween Quaker, lolol. What's one more WIP, right🤣 Your designs are beautiful. Thanks for another great video. Look forward to your next one. Happy Stitching:) Inez
Thank you for sharing your wonderful stitching. That Halloween Quaker has remained quite popular. Your G.Leger needs to be framed! It is so beautiful. Your personal designs are unique also. See you soon. Cindy
I enjoyed seeing all of your finishes. Your Precious Moments piece sure brings back some memories. You are a joy to watch and I look forward to your next flosstube video.
Thank you for your video. It was like a walk down memory lane. My girlfriend is also a designer she’s had an Etsy store for quite a while, she sells project bags.. Though she has started designing and she has PDF charts in her Etsy shop. She’s trying to break into shops. So before we went to STITCH-CON We planned a route that we hit every Crosstitch store between Chicago and Cincinnati just to introduce her and show the shops her product. Most weren’t that interested because she was selling her charts in Etsy as a PDF. They felt that they wouldn’t get enough people buying her things because of that. You two should have a chat.
Hi Diana, Yes, there’s quite a bit of history there! Thanks for sharing your friend’s experience. It’s not the highest priority for me at the moment but I still want to look into it further. I’m going to keep you in mind and if I get back to working on it I’ll see about contacting you so I could talk to your friend…If that’s ok?
In your first video you said you had ironed your pieces and said it didn’t look like it. I use Mary Ellen’s best press from JoAnns to press all my stitching pieces. Takes out hoop marks nicely. Never had a problem with it. I also press out the folds in my fabric before stitching on it. Just a suggestion.
Well done, Sharon. It was fun watching your stitching taste grow with the changes in designs available to us. You are also quite a talented designer. I'll enjoy seeing your journey in that venue, too. I've started following you on IG. I don't have a FT channel, but I do post from time to time on IG if you're interested in seeing some of what I'm working on. Looking forward to #3. Steph from NJ (Forgot to add that my father, brother and hubbie are all 20+ yr USAF vets, so truly appreciate what you're doing for our service men and women)
You did an awesome job holding your work, and I could tell you were really trying to give the correct info on each. I need that retired variation for the word "retired". Why haven't you framed all of your beautiful work?
Hi Theresa, I could send you close-up pics of the ‘Retired’ variation so you could see the stitches if you send me an email asking for it! Unfortunately, the lack of framing has been lack of time…but I’m now starting to work on doing some of that!
Kathy, I’m really glad you enjoyed it. I love that one too. At the time, I thought I was crazy buying it from a store in the UK because I couldn’t find it in the US! I wouldn’t think that now of course. 😀
Hi Kay, if you go to Etsy and type in Every Day Stitcher (Note that Every Day is two words, not one), you should get results that first show 2 cross stitching shirts (ads) and then thumbnails of my charts will be right beneath them. Hope this helps!
Wow! You've completed so much stitching! You are right, the frame for "Listen to Your Heart" is perfect! I've added "Laundry Room" to my cart (thanks for the inspiration). "Stay Calm & Stitch" is so cute! Your personal designs are very good. Do you stitch with a hoop or in hand?
I did finish the models that I stitched of my designs…First time ever doing that though! Stretched and laced around acid-free foam board with the baker’s twine around the edges. (I love that twine and you can get a big bag from Amazon with all sorts of colors!) I will be attempting more finishes as I continue on my cross stitching journey 😀
@@everydaystitcher that's great! I've never tried lacing. When I've frame, I use sticky board for mounting and kist shove it in a frame...works great for small pieces but use a Hobby Lobby to frame my bigger works. I do all my other finishings including ornaments, pillows for doughbowl, mounted finishes for 3 tier tray ect...my problem is trying to find the time to finish. Ug!

Stunning work! You need to get those beauties on the walls to enjoy!
Thanks for the kind words, Judy! You are right! I’m starting to get some frames now so hopefully some finishes will be making it on the walls soon!
I enjoyed your stitching so much. Loved the precious moments finish:) and you did a great job showing all the stitching so we could see it close up. Thanks forsharing.

Amazing finishes. Can't wait to see what you are working on next
Thanks for your kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed them.
Oh my goodness! Your blueberry crate stitch is hanging in my kitchen. I stitched it and a strawberry one YEARS ago.
Nancy, that is so soon! I’m going to have to go take a peek at that strawberry one now!!! And yes, it was a bizillion years ago that I stitch it!
Love, love your designs! Your style is very similar to mine. I would stitch almost all of them😊... looking forward to the next time!

I did all of the Precious Moments in that booklet and made a very ugly quilt with them.
Note that was a lot of work but it was all the rage back in the day! I did several of them, have most away…
