My Lg g8x is taking around 7 hrs to full charge with ambrane 18 watt charger is there any setting that needs to be change, kindly suggest any solutions.
It should not take more than 3 hours to charge from 0 to 100 using ambrane 18w charger... I'm also still using.
Please check with other 18w charger to rule out charger or cable issue.
If you are charging through pogo connector, ensure it's not placed upside down.
If you still face issue - I suspect charging port pin is bent or cut. But service centre people can confirm

Phone heats up to 40°c when charging.
PTron is my preference, as it's sleek in design.
Hi, My LGG8X is charging very slow at max 300mA using cable(changed to new power adapter and cable).Will using wireless charger be faster than this ? any idea can i purchase wireless charger?
Slow charging may be the cause from using high power adaptor like vooc or superdart.
Charging circuit gets damaged and results slow charging forever in such cases.
You can try wireless chargers.
But remember that lg g8x won't charge more than 12W speed with any wired or wireless chargers. I tested with many 15w 18W chargers in the past.
How much time it takes for full recharge on LG G8X ?
Appx 2 hours 10 mins from 20 to 100%
