I like to watch videos about foreigners tasting Dutch snacks/food, but you guys are the champions. Love the way you analyse, and enjoy (almost) everything
Being Dutch this is the first one ever that I actually sat through with a smile, I found it well-researched and that made your experience of the products so much more satisfying for both you and us as viewers. And even a bit refreshing, I now have a newfound respect for Appelstroop lol. Also, most of my friends would never guess the tastes in that Grolsch the way your tastebuds picked up on it. So thank you for taking your time and energy!
We are really glad you like these treats. The winter bok beer indeed has hints of clove, ginger and cinnamon. It is also the strongest of the four seasonal beers with 7,5% alcohol (the autumn one is 6,5%). Of these two the autumn one is my favourite. They go great with snacks but also with winter dishes like stew. Nissin really is the best ramen and yakisoba maker in the Netherlands, other makers have indeed a very bland taste so I always buy nissin. Nissin here also has yakisoba style classic (sauce flavour), chili, teriyaki and sukiyaki beef and some instant ramen flavours (chicken garlic, Tokyo shoyu, spicy beef). So sweet you still have the "flowers" Saya picked for you. Saya sends you a kiss :) We are looking forward to part two. Hopefully you'll like the treats in that part as well :)
Tamara, thank you for providing them the food and drink which allowed them to make a great video. All because of you and your husband and friend. Thanks!
Nissin is Japanese? It was the brand that invented instant noodles. I don't really understand why you guys added it into the package to be honest as it's not Dutch at all haha Nissin is Japans? Het was het merk dat instant noedels uitgevonden had. Ik snap eerlijk gezegt niet waarom jullie het erbij hebben gedaan aangezien het niet Nederlands is haha
Winterbok is brewed with honey, cinnamon and clove! You are completely correct. Herfstbok has more blueberry and cinnamon. Lentebok has citrusnotes. Zomerbok has clove and fruit flavours. Have you ever tried mead? A honeybeer,
mead in and of its self isn't beer. it is best described as a honeywine, and made through the fermentation of honey mixed with water. but yes, it is often mixed with beer and really delicious
The applestroop is not a jam, it's thinkend applejuice indeed more like molasses. If you have a dutch cheese like gouda, you could put the stroop on a slice of bread and put a slice of cheese on top of that. I like that very much as a breakfast food.
The "Applestroop' combines great with aged (Dutch) cheese. The contrast of the salty cheese and the sweet flavours of the syrup are a unexpected, but amazing combination!
Thanks to Tamara, Esther, and Saya for these wonderful treats! Everything looked so delicious! I wish I could try the chocolate bar with yuzu and seaweed. That looks especially interesting, and I think I would like it. It's so fun seeing Justin in the video, too. I'm looking forward to Part 2! Thanks for the great video! :-)

Hello my Brothers. Thank you so much for taste testing the great looking Dutch food and thank you Tamara, Esther and Saya for sending them. I tell ya they all looked delish even the beer. If I HAD to choose I think I would choose one sweet and one savory because I really love, love, love the savory foods (Diabetic). Ya look like ya enjoyed them all.

You two are the sweetest, cutest, and funniest hosts in a video. Love watching the two of you commenting and reacting to the food you eat. You're a great team.!
i really love those nissin soba noodles, either in cup or packet version, cause they are dry noodles instead of soup and they taste delicious, yakitori chicken(blue) and teriyaki(green) are my favourite
TUC has always been one of my favourites..so simple yet so delicious. The paprika TUC especially has a place in my heart as my grandaunt always had some for me and my brother when we visited.
The dog's wide-eyed look is so appealing :) And your analysis of the flavours of what you were eating and drinking is "spot-on". Personally I've always found Dutch food in general, and drink too, rather too sweet for my palate, but of course that makes it very pleasant (if requiring self-discipline) to consume ;)
What a great selection of food , both your reactions were a seal of approval. The beers looked interesting especially how they incorporated the seasons. I don't drink beer but I would definitely try them for sure .

Had no idea Nissin's Soba was "Dutch". They're all over Europe. Thought they were just a licensed product from Nissin. Many noodle manufacturers do that, have the same exact product but like a factory in Poland for the European market or something.

Lol, that stroop is from my village. I pass that factory every day.
haha this was awesome, i really want to try the beer now. you guys made it sound so yummy. im also very curious about the apple stroop? i cant remember how to spell it. cant wait for part 2. honestly im not shock anymore that Shinichi chose the beer after seeing him with Drew at the cone cafe shop place (dont remember the name either lol) stay well guys
Thats my favorite noodles I always make them and also fry them with real chicken in a pan 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
I'm so surprised about the soba. We have that brand in the UK and I love it for lunches but I thought it was a Japanese flavour so to hear you don't have it surprised me but I'm glad you approve of it as I like them.
I come from Japan and currently living in Germnay. Here you can find the brand as well, but when I found them, I was kinda shocked by the flavors like curry or Teriyaki.
We use those foam blocks to get the children going. Just feed them a few and the sugar will keep them hyper energised for minutes!
Dutch food is so good 🔥
wow..i would love to try the chocolate.🍫😍.particularly the stroop waffle one?..i'm very particular about chocolate and it needs to be really special before i can eat it as it gives me migraines so i can't eat very much but that looks like something i would love to try. shame i can't get it here. i'd love to taste it and share the experience with my daughter..we share most snacks we get and it makes it more special. great video as always guys👌😘
Maybe better if you have 85 % dark chocolate ? I get woozy and depleted after eating milk chocolate.
Looked good! All of it!! 🥰✨
"This appelstroop is really THICC" 😂
Had no idea Nissin's Soba was "Dutch". They're all over Europe. Thought they were just a licensed product from Nissin. Many noodle manufacturers do that, have the same exact product but like a factory in Poland for the European market or something.
same I honestly thought it was just an asian brand
@@asadorama The brand definitively is Japanese. They invented instant noodles. Momofoku and all that.
@@user-lv6rn9cf8m yeah thanks this video made me kinda confused
Have never even seen this brand of noodles here in the Netherlands😅
Never thought I'd see Shinichi get so blown away by beer! haha, you guys ought to switch up saying your names one time for funsies. :)
And we made meatballs with apple syrup sauce it's the boulettes a la liegeoise, try belgian food and beers please it's delicious
