Hi Robert, always awesome. Have the first box thinking of getting that second one. Always love your videos... intro coffee kind of morning... and outro... love you all. You are a ray of sunshine. Thank you Robert.😊
Van Halen is my absolutely favorite band of all time. Finally, Van Hagar on vinyl..long overdue. Lovely collection..kinda sparse, but that’s VH for ya. I’ll take what I can get. Thanks for sharing and enjoy the latest from the greatest! 🤟🎶 Greetings from Detroit Rock City!
Thanks for sharing your insightful review of this timeless band. VH rules and has stood the test of time. This box set is way way overdue. Enjoy and turn it up!! Listen to the 2004 Best of Both Worlds greatest hits collection...the sound is far superior. Listen to em back to back and you will hear quite a sonic difference. Have a good one!
i love both periods of van halen, they just moved with the times which most of the rock bands did to stay relevent if you dont you fade away, i grow up with the hagar period so kind of lean to that, but i also have all of david lee roths solo albums its all cool i say, cheers robert
Robert nice job on the VH library. Always liked both lineups, never did see them though. The two albums I've listened to most are Women And Children First and then Balance. Have a fine day, cheers. Brian
Hi Robert!!! so cool to see VH the Sammy era boxset now in your collection.....i like Vh very much and as i fully discover the band with 1984, then learning about the new lineup was never a big issue to me. Unfortunately never got the chance to see them live, that would have been awesome. cheers and be well
Hey Robert Just to let you know the greatest hits VH that was released years ago was supposed to be the Ted Templeton demos cleaned up. But VH and WB couldn't come up with a deal so it was shelved. I have had many many of their demos for years and decent sound but not perfect. Well now recently many from Ted's have been leaked out from various sources. High quality of course. David Lee Roth era are the ones for me including 2012 release. Cheers
(hopefully) waiting for the price to go down but I plan on snagging the vinyl box at some point. It's an underrated and underappreciated era for sure. Cheers Robert!
My biggest complaint on this is why can't they have a booklet with lyrics or at least the songs listed for each album. This groups that are older put these out with the smallest lettering on nobody can read these titles

I think the hagar years are great, hust as the Roth years have their moments
Awesome bro
Great video, I saw Sammy open for Ted Nugent, the only song I knew was Red. Big fan of both Van Halen version's.
Would have loved to see him
Glad you did

I wasn't aware of that

I'm with you on that. Make it a small poster like so the lyrics can be read at least
Excellent band but do we need reissues from bands all the time but nice box set all the same.
Good point!
