The golden age of Thomas Wooden Railway, before engines became half-painted and compacted, and the track didn't work with other brands. You got a really good deal, especially the pieces from the Come Out, Henry! Story Pack. Some of the surviving relics of my childhood include the Double-Wide Old Iron Bridge, the Sodor Cargo Crane, the Barrel Loader, and the Percy Takes the Plunge Set.
“I don’t know what this is, I’d like to think it’s melted Pop Tarts. It gives me comfort.” I laughed for a solid minute there. This was ingenious and heartfelt nostalgic.
Can we please add Catarina, Oswald the Baggage Container Vehicle, and Clinically Depressed Henry to the wiki? While we’re at it, Friends-with-benefits and I-didn’t-think-this-through bridges too.
this video is just nice that's all I can describe it with i love how relaxing and meditative it is thanks for this the combination of nostalgic late 90s mixed with the patio setting and the layout tour format is so appealing to me and something I really needed at the moment
I think this week has a pretty good theme: This year is stressful, take out the trains! I am glad that I was not the only one to destress with a layout this holiday weekend!
one day i visited my brothers friends house, i saw a box with track galore and asked if could take it down. turns out i hit the jackpot just like you! it was awesome finally seeing these old engines in real life! now no, i didn't buy it but next time i go down there ill take a photo, it even had Culdee and George!
I haven’t built a layout in a long time. Probably close to a year. And that’s due to my small room and all my large objects such as my bed, my bookshelf, and my backdrop table. And even if I could build a whole layout, it would only last two weeks before the cleaners come. That is a great find by the way. :)
seeing the beheaded cranky reminded me of a really old YT vid where this kid was filming his cranky saying "hey cranky give me a ride" then the head falls off the kid says "Oh my god he's dead" I found that really funny XD
I actually enjoyed this and watched the whole thing... I've never done that to a layout tour, apart from maybe one. But, very nice job, it was just nice to hear you talk about this. Thanks for that. :3
Oswald is my new favorite character. Also this collection is off the wall cool EDITEDITEDIT: The red, double-tracked bridge is the Old Iron Bridge and It's EXTREMELY DTF
This layout looks really good and it's great that you were able to get something like this. Until Thomas Wood, I saw how Thomas Wooden Railway improved on their design both with the track, buildings, and engines. I don't know if you had Ada, Jane, and Mabel, but I hear they're one of the rarest Wooden Railway items of all time. I wish I could get them. I do agree with the nostalgia that TWR has. I always enjoyed building train layouts both big and small and at times I would build very big layouts with almost every single piece of track I had, although I would always find myself not using some track since there's so much of it, it's hard to find where to put them. Something I would recommend is that we preserve our Thomas Wooden Railway stuff for future generations and say, "Long before that stupid Thomas Wood came out, we had a much better Thomas track system made of wood where we had completely painted engines. Maybe one day we can bring Thomas Wooden Railway back."
I think it's time to say, since the beginning of your channel, it's been my dream to voice in your series, I know I'm a kid, but I can do many impressions, including duck, Oliver, a station master, a driver/ fireman, and many more. It's okay to say no, I'll understand, and I'll always enjoy having you voice in my series! Your friend, TWA :-)
And the best video of the year award goes to... EnterprisingEngines93! (Also, by the way, you got so lucky. I'm still trying to look for a reasonably priced Daisy that isn't 100% busted. *pouty face* lol)
I Think I Saw It In September & Wanted It For Christmas But When I Saw Local Pick Up In (I Won't Say Where For Safety) And Live FAR From There. It Wasn't Till I Saw That Custom Box That I Realized This Was the Same Lot. I Also Saw A 250 Dollar Lot On The 1997 Roundhouse Set With Extras (Including A Coal Station) But Ended And Sold To No One. :(
this was my childhood in a nutshell XD it hurts to look at all of this because I had to sell all of my wooden railway :( EDIT JUST IN: I JUST FOUNND OUT THAT IM ALLOWED TO START COLLECTING THEM AGAINNNNNNNNN YASSSS
i never got something like that just a thomas that felt from a moving car and into a fryer and survived a gordon and Victor and some wagons and annie and clarabel.
I am so jealous it’s not even funny. Hopefully your ready for the mad flow of many comments asking if stuff is for sale. (Like me, I NEED YOUR STUFF) Anyways, that’s an amazing layout and I laughed a lot throughout the video like you usually make me do but it was great. Again GIVE ME YOUR STUFF! Man your going to have about twenty seven Fred’s now, an not even a Thomas! I can’t get over how oblivious you were to what was rare or not! And how you kept changing between random points on the layout! Ahaha! Anyways talking to much but yet another great video Enterprising! And thomaswoodenrailway is one of the nicest people on the planet for this!
The lines are as follows: Welcome to the diesel works, James, what do you need? Pause) You? Pulling a goods train? Well err, I am, err, what I mean is.... Pause) What if I help you? Where do you need this to be delivered? Pause) No.... Problem.. err, .... James Pause) Err, BoCo, which line to tidmouth, please? Pause) Well Dart, I'm err, what I mean is.... Pause) Yes Dart, yes I am!
About pop tarts and crayon on tracks, I have two track pieces that have stuff on them, one has crayon marks and the other has strawberry jam smeared in the groove of the track
I have an old style Cranky and I decabitated it so much that the nob (I don’t know what it’s called) on the bottom of the head got worn down; so now Cranky is forever beheaded. RIP
The “I didn’t think this through” bridge is so relatable XD
my thoughts exactly...
lol.
This was a great pickup especially with the Sad Story of Henry set and that Double Wide Old Iron Bridge! Can’t believe you found this amount of stuff!
Back to the 90s with all these vintage wooden items I’m pretty jealous of.
Everything that I wanted in the Wooden railway yearbook as a child, in one video!
New character confirmed for big world big adventures, Clinically Depressed Henry
+MetalSonicZX He's clinically depressed because he doesn't get to go on those big adventures with his friends.
MetalSonicZX X'D
So much nostalgia. It actually hurts.

Also, #VotePresidentiallyTannedScruffey2020
And while we're at it, we could always try adding the Sodor-Cargo-Crane-ON-benefits.
Cinematic Conductor Also the Melted Pop-Tart Turntable.
I wouldn't need Christmas gifts if I got this. You got something amazing
this video is just nice
that's all I can describe it with
i love how relaxing and meditative it is thanks for this
the combination of nostalgic late 90s mixed with the patio setting and the layout tour format is so appealing to me and something I really needed at the moment
Thanks man! It was a change of pace but it was fun for me too
I think this week has a pretty good theme: This year is stressful, take out the trains! I am glad that I was not the only one to destress with a layout this holiday weekend!
"Presidentially Tan S. C. Ruffey."
You win the mobster vocal mimicking contest. Your mother must be proud.
The Wooden Paradise
I solely watched this to the end because of the random commentary. XD
@Sidekickjason, haha, same here!
one day i visited my brothers friends house,
i saw a box with track galore and asked if could take it down.

so much fun to find stuff like this
tell me about it dude!
I’m just watching this video now and this is so, so strange. This is the weirdest layout video I’ve ever seen.
I haven’t built a layout in a long time. Probably close to a year. And that’s due to my small room and all my large objects such as my bed, my bookshelf, and my backdrop table. And even if I could build a whole layout, it would only last two weeks before the cleaners come. That is a great find by the way. :)
Beautiful stuff you got there mate, makes me want to build a layout so bad!
This was actually a rollercoaster from start to finish
seeing the beheaded cranky reminded me of a really old YT vid where this kid was filming his cranky saying "hey cranky give me a ride" then the head falls off the kid says "Oh my god he's dead" I found that really funny XD
Jamesfan143 you know I had a take a long cranky and his head fell of too😄
"So here's clinically depressed Henry..." "Oswald the Baggage Container Vehicle..."
"How did Watson get hair on this already!?"
This layout hit me right through the feels. Nice find my friend
I wish I had that clinically depressed Henry.
A very nice layout EE93. It looks great.
Euan Mort thanks man!
This is beautiful.
I actually enjoyed this and watched the whole thing... I've never done that to a layout tour, apart from maybe one. But, very nice job, it was just nice to hear you talk about this. Thanks for that.

Thomas Blue thank you very much!
the irony of the Presidentially-Tan S.C.Ruffy leading to a back-less Donald
:D
This is seriously one of the funniest videos you've ever made. Your incoherent rambling is top-notch!
:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
@@ThomasWoodenRailway Hey Thomas wooden railway! Big fan. You inspired me to make my own wooden railway videos.
Your trains from your childhood are like my ones that I currently own
Oswald is my new favorite character.
Also this collection is off the wall cool
EDITEDITEDIT: The red, double-tracked bridge is the Old Iron Bridge and It's EXTREMELY DTF
I make layouts so often and it is hard to use fresh ideas every time. Especially when there is limited room. So I can relate.
Props you for doing this in all clicking clack track
So much nostalgia in one video
This reminds me so much of an old layout I did back in the day similar to this one minus the “I didn’t think this through” bridge.
This layout looks really good and it's great that you were able to get something like this. That layout is beautiful
The red bridge is the double old iron bridge and it’s rare as a big diamond
I laughed harder at clinically depressed Henry than I really should've
I lost it at "Friends with benefits bridge" 😂😂
friends with benefits bridge! That had me laughing
Awesome finds!
this is hilarious! i know how hard it is to make layouts; the one in my videos took me like 3 days to make.
Nice man stache of wooden railway stuff, I hope no one judges you
I don't mind if they do haha
I think it's time to say, since the beginning of your channel, it's been my dream to voice in your series, I know I'm a kid, but I can do many impressions, including duck, Oliver, a station master, a driver/ fireman, and many more.

Your friend,

I wouldn't say no, but I do take longer to make episodes than I used to. Thank you so much! I'll see what I can do

Oh really? I was wondering if people saw this. It was online for a while!

This video is actually really good, it would be awesome if you did others like it in the future ^^
Thanks Reece!

I have a beheaded cranky too. :)
Man I'm salty I'd love that clickity clack track is the best.
The wooden railway layout should be called “the 1990’s wooden railway”
(Like if you agree)
The lines are as follows:
Welcome to the diesel works, James, what do you need?

I'm going to come to your house and eat all of those items, they look tasty.
Man that is amazing!

Blue track! I was a dumb kid and colored a track red and blue luckily I only colored one😄
About pop tarts and crayon on tracks, I have two track pieces that have stuff on them, one has crayon marks and the other has strawberry jam smeared in the groove of the track
Also, the red bridge is called the old iron bridge!
You have a vast collection. You can use a stunt double.
Amazing.
That is cool I like it
Is really nice
I have an old style Cranky and I decabitated it so much that the nob (I don’t know what it’s called) on the bottom of the head got worn down; so now Cranky is forever beheaded. RIP
Nice!!
If you think you're bad at making layouts, you should see MINE. *shiver*
Hey EE93! Do you have time to voice den again in another episode? I need him in S2!
But I would definitely be better at making layout videos. Even now I can make one of I had a layout and not an Arlesburgh set.😼
Well hope that you’ve are alright for when you order again.
Lol clinically depressed Henry!xD
its been a long time since i did a set up of my trains b/c reasons
I am still at the friends with benefits bridge
