Thank you for your excellent video. You have a very clear instructional style so the viewer can SEE and UNDERSTAND what you are doing. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into make this video. It has helped me a lot with gaining more understanding about dealing with coil springs. Your ethos works perfectly for me. Thank you again - Elisabetta
Thank you for watching my videos. First you need to know the finished height of the seat. You subtract the padding and the difference is the finished tie down of the springs measured from the webbing. The springs need to be tie downed 1/3 of their original height. So you add 1/3 to the difference. This is the real height of the spring.
You are fantastic!!!!I love your work and the way you teach and explain the art of upholstery. God bless you and thank you for sharing your knowledge. Where are you located at? Are you Swiss?🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😁
Your video is very instructive and tell us you are an excellent upholsterer. I would like to know how you choose the height of the springs? I opened a chair, un fortunately I did not do it layer by layer so I do not know how hight the springs were.
Fantastic videos! Really nice to see things done the traditional way! Can I ask why itou put the springs underneath the frame? How do you get the twine on top of the springs?
I have an antique rocking chair from my grandmother that I would like to upholster. I was wondering if I could send you a photo and if you could tell me what the best materials would be to do it right?
