To sit and watch a real Craftsman at work is absolutely as good as real life gets. Thank you so much

I'm really enjoying this series. All your videos have been very helpful as I'm in the midst of reupholstering a classic davenport.
FWIW, the knot you identified as a clove hitch is actually a lark's head or cow hitch. A lark's head has its two single hitches tied in opposing directions whereas a clove hitch has them tied in the same direction.

I once read a sailor's words. "If you can't tie a good knot, tie a lot of them." My source has the knot misidentified as a clove hitch.

Oh wow, I have a Restoration Hardware sofa where the suspension is very loose. Doing it myself looks like it will take some time. Thank you for showing us this!

How many meters of twine has you used for complete this job ? I'm trying to do something similar. Thank you so much.

I don't normally pay any attention to how much twine is used but in this case I had a new 5Lb. ball and used around 3 lbs.

@@Buckminsterupholstery Thank you for your kind reply. I guess it is about the Italian ruby twine. It happens that in my country there is no such twine and I have to buy it in USA and import it through Amazon, as it is an expensive item until it arrives in my country, I needed to know the quantity.
