- This video is a tribute to 10 influential and courageous African Americans who paved the way for progress of many generation. I attempted to dress my dolls to look like the person being honored and / or remembered.
I shared some of my t-shirt creations that are for sale in my Etsy shop. The link to my shop is included below:

Thank you for taking the time and interest in putting this together. My toddler and I enjoyed it.
That’s so nice of you to say, I appreciate it! I’m so happy you watched it with your little one and enjoyed it🥰
I am supposed to be cleaning, but I had to sit and really pay attention to this video. I have watched many of your videos so how I missed this one in February is beyond me.
The fact that you took your time to create a video like this, when you aren't a member of the community speaks volumes about your character. It is evident that you care about people, even when they look differently from you and have taught your children to do the same by sharing stories through literature and lived experiences. Kuddos to you for being an awesome human. BONUS
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch this video 🩷 you’re beyond kind words really touched my heart, and I am grateful that you shared them with me! You and others who support me add so much joy to my life and nourish my soul 💞.
This is a beautiful, meaningful and very insightful post !! Your dolls are lovely and the comparisons were great !!! Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you so much! I appreciate you!!
Love the video, love the t-shirts, enjoy you sharing the pictures of your friend and you, and impressed of the job you put down with the dolls representing those amazing people. ❤🤗
It made me so happy to read your comment! I’m really glad that you can appreciate the work that went into creating this video 🥰
I also have to compliment you on the work you put into the dolls depicting each character that you chose! Excellent work!
Thank you so much! Just couldn’t miss the opportunity to share my vision.
Beautiful pictures of you and your friend. I always loved the black Barbies growing up. Its terribly sad that there was only one black friend of Barbie, Francie, and black Barbie didn't exist until 1979. Its so nice that Mattel has made Barbie so diverse now. Such a wonderful video! Great historical information. Beautiful dolls. Really well done! 🖤🤎
Thank you so much! I smiled reading your comment. 🥰🤩
Beautiful video! A great history lesson! Thank you for putting in so much time and love to create this video!
Thank you so much for sharing with me. I’m so glad that you watched it and fully appreciate the effort that I put into it. There are just so many parts of black history that need to be recognized and I try to do my best in the short video.🥰
Great job matching the dolls' outfits with the historical figures'!
Thank you so much! I appreciate that because I tried 🥰🤩😁
Bless your heart!❤😊 Thank you! I am glad you had such an enriching life experience! You are an angel for sharing!
Many blessings back to you too! Yes, it was enriching and sometimes the rough terrain we travel creates opportunities for growth and I feel immensely blessed. ☺️❤️
Goodnight'The T-shirts look great. I love the leather jacket lol. Thank you for sharing your perspective I really appreciate it. I am glad you and your friend shared Such a great friendship. I shared this video with my granddaughters age 8.that was a GREAT video. I am looking forward to the Shirley movie.
I enjoyed reading your comments and found myself smiling with every sentence you wrote. I appreciate your feedback on the T-shirts 🤩 Ah, you like my leather jacket lol ~ I guess it was in style back then… he he
I felt like I really needed to share my friendship with my best friend for my entire life, which is many decades. Having such a deep relationship with someone and coming from two totally different perspectives taught me so much. I never realized the deep value until I got older. Sometimes my heart hurts when I hear and see the injustices that continue but every step in the right direction as progress. I’m so happy you shared it with your granddaughters. Yay! I’m looking forward to watching the Shirley movie too!! 🥰
My goodness! All of the time and research that you put into this video was really impressive. I learned a lot and appreciated the inclusion of folks I consider genuine US heroes.

Yay!! Thank you ☺️
I am so disappointed in how society has treated people of color. Thank you for taking the time of day to make this video. You did an amazing job dressing up the dolls to look like certain people in black history.
Bonus.
I couldn’t agree more and appreciate you watching this video and helping him move up on the UA-cam algorithm 🥰
I'll tell you people with disabilities get so bullyed
I agree and have a daughter with disabilities. She has a job and her company is bullying her and not providing accommodations. So I totally get it.
