Great finds, Even though I don't have a doll house (wish I did) when ever I go into a store (any store) I always look for things that would look good for a doll's house for fun. Liked the way you kept with the era. When you spray paint formulated for plastic, lightly sand (until cracks and drips are smooth) the entire item then wash off dust, go over with alcohol. Do several light coats let dry in between, not one heavy coat keeping the spray paint can not too close. Maybe use spray paint primer first. Hope this helps.
The “hunt” is so much fun and I used to do the same thing before I had my dollhouse. Thanks for the information on spray painting, I’m going to sand down those chairs and try this technique. 🥰
Thanks sooooo much - sometimes I go into overkill mode with my dollhouse lol. Just when you watch this video, I switched up Julie’s apartment stay tune for another video on that ☺️
I had so many of these items in my home growing up: the Tupperware cups, Corning ware, electric knife, etc. Again, so many fun details you have included. Amazing!
Julie’s room is wonderful and I’m in love with all the details! I can’t believe you found so many fun doll size items that work with the 70’s theme. Everything looks great!
I’m so glad you enjoyed this video! I was a little kid in the 70’s so it is nostalgic for me too. By the way, in 2 weeks I’ll be posting a video that goes through all sorts of 1970’s things since that was Julie’s era.
ohhh an old school blender. the ice cube holder is cute. i want an ice pop now lol. awwww the lil cereal. i think my grandma had the console you found online. the foil, the details. 😊
I’m so glad you appreciate all the details because I absolutely love accumulating items that align with my vision of what I want to create. Then when I put it together, I’m usually pretty happy with the outcome and it makes me happy to get your type of feedback. Thank you so much!
Grace and I watched this last night and we were both in awe at the level of detail and the number of super cool, authentic things you've collected to make this space feel so real! Thank you for sharing :)
Julie has a great apartment. I now want to crochet a throw for her bed and the living room in my granddaughters doll house. The magnets were a craft I would try for sure seems doable with my limited crafting skills can also be done with younger children
I hear you’re about to crochet throw because the minute I saw that I had to have it and now if I ever see anything similar to it, I buy it. I hope you do the magnets since all refrigerators need magnets or at least my refrigerator still has magnets on it. It’s sort of reminds me of my childhood, since our refrigerator was covered with magnets lol
Great room! I love how authentic to the era it is. I have the OG kitchen, too, and always think that it looks like a 1970s kitchen. The green makes it even better! I love the kitchen miniatures, especially the casserole dishes and Brady Bunch lunchbox. I don’t collect for Julie, but this really makes me want to start. 😊
What a cool shirt! Wow that kitchen is so creative the way you redid it! There are so many tiny details that’s crazy tbh The coca colas are cute looks accurate to the pic too! I love the creativity using Christmas ornaments and keychains, we collectors have to be creative! My house what’s some Pyrex dishes I like those doll ones That ice tray is interesting I’ve never seen anything like it I may need to get my dolls some of those food boxes 👀 Oh the Brady bunch!! My family has spent lots of time together watching that show 🩷 Oh that rug is so cool! Thanks for sharing the temu idea I loved seeing this whole apartment with such a precise and well-thought-out theme! It’s so thorough! Bonus ❤ Ps my comments are getting longer and longer XD it’s just so fun at this point Also one question- what do you use to hang things like photo frames??
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your comments! They confirm and validate that my doll rooms are on point! I absolutely love hunting for things and putting in my dollhouse. I use this to hang just about every and anything on the walls: a.co/d/jjqMHnE
Isn’t that mini electric knife so Flippin cute? I absolutely love it and it is perfect for Julie era. I left the link to my Etsy shop somewhere else, but I’m going to leave it here again www.etsy.com/shop/YourDollySuperstore

@@AGTV4Life oh thank you!
My husband is a painter. He said you have to prime plastic items with a primer made for plastic. Then paint should adhere properly.
Thank you so much!! I’m going to look for a plastic primer since I want to paint the MyLife sink and redo my bathroom. 🥰
Great video! I’d love to see the animal crackers box tutorial.
Thank you! Will add the tutorial to my list! 🥰
