INTJ 1w9- I don’t like managing people, I don’t like telling people what to do, I don’t like controlling people. That being said, I do enjoy growing people. This forces me out of my zone and makes me face those obstacles mentioned above. Part of that growth is placing them in positions they possess a natural inclination toward. Another part is placing them in situations that are not so natural to them. Sales and marketing I’m naturally good at myself, but I don’t like selling things. _If_ I do sell something to someone it’s because I foresee the thing benefiting the person either immediately (usually monetarily) and or for a time to come. But it MUST benefit THEM. Good video, good topic. The fast bits threw the video and message off a little though. Keep it up!
Se is extremely important. Se is showing your direct reports that you're mentally there during 1:1s, side conversations, or when they vent about an issue so they know that they're being heard. Se is when you take the heat off of them when talking to people higher level than them so they know you got their back. Se is making a huge deal about their accomplishments 1:1 or in front of other people so they feel like their work has meaning. Se is always having an upbeat attitude when they talk to you so that they don't feel like an idiot asking you a question or that they feel like they belong. Se is making them feel heard and that they care. Of course you can use other functions to do the same but Se has a warmth to it that other functions don't.
Managing by Expectations is how I'd envision myself to operate (for the most part) once I have that level of power over others. It just makes more sense to prioritize the solution of a problem than to attempt to dictate the procedure. Micromanagement is hard to justify in most cases. I have had personal doubts about Elon being an INTJ, just from superficial assessment. The way he goes about being a boss is questionable. There's an apparent carelessness (and callousness) that I find antithetical to the type.
@@GhostofJung I remembered one of your past videos talking about how to dress. I imagined since you were on top of that subject it might have been easy for you to overlook the fact you had that part of yourself covered already when you became a manager.
LMAO - I just realized I set the playback to 2x speed when editing and thought it was JUST for the editing portion. I actually kinda like it and will keep it unless everyone complains. Sorry about that!
@@GhostofJung I watch everything on 2x speed and would use 3x speed if it was available. I appreciate the timesaving that speeding up one's own video gives. I'm an INTJ.

True for me as well - hate selling when the person doesn't need what im selling.

Never heard of Se being described as warm before. Can you describe what this warmth is like a bit more? I'm trying to wrap my head around it.
Yeah I've been interested in this topic.
what say you then?
@@GhostofJung That Ni users make better bosses.

Se has to do with image management so if you are a leader looking the part would be important and related to Se.
ok there you go! Could not figure it out. So I do dress the part as well as I never dress down
