Hi Monique. As an older viewer and a traveller I will say this. You appear pretty smart and you will grow a lot in the next 9 months. Just be aware and keep close eyes on your valuables. The pick pockets work as team and are wired to one another. Have fun and remember you will have disappointments along the way. Wish you the best.

Really loved this vid! I am preparing for a big trip to Europe at the moment and relate to the stresses.
Just wondering now that you're home, did you end up referring to the 'my maps' the whole time while you were away? aka was the hostel/attraction research worth it?
It was definitely helpful at the start. But once I kind of knew where I wanted to go I would often just arrive in a place and find out what I wanted to do when I go there. And you meet so many people backpacking who have just come from where you’re going, who share insider tips
