You obviously do not know many watermelon varieties that are flavorful if you list Carolina Cross as one of the best.

@@Balyanak But that does not make them good ones. Carolina cross is only grown for someone who is entering a contest for largest melon. It is not practical in a home garden setting for it is gigantic and is of poor eating quality. Put on the list Jubilee! Renowned for flavor, productivity, crispness of flesh, disease resistance, and grown by more people then Carolina Cross by a mile. It is also a large melon for I have 2 sitting on my counter at this very moment and 1 in the fridge. Developed in 1963 along with Crimson Sweet, but was developed in Florida.
