I lived on Kone'ohe Marine Corps Air Station, back when they called it that. I was a teenager. My friends and I were walking home from the movies at night. They lived on officers hill, their dads being officers. There is a memorial to a downed Japanese pilot on that hill across from what was at that time a daycare building (one of two hidden memorials). The pilots family left a bottle of sake at the site. My friends thought it would be funny to mess with the bottle. That was not a good idea. The flood light on the daycare started going off and on like crazy! I pointed this out and they dropped the sake, luckily unbroken, and we got the hell out of there. Hawaii is VERY haunted. This was just one event I experienced.
A Pacific theater story at last. So many possibilities for spooky stories, from Ghostly orange squals that overtake warships in the Java Sea, to be found uncrewed and adrift afterwards with every electronic burnt out, a strange Atoll in the Central Pacific that gives off a strange hum, no submarine, aircraft or ship daring to venturing close ever returning, to somethings stalking the jungles of the Solomon's, feeding on American and Japanese patrols alike. I'm always disappointed we lump almost all the Weird War stuff into the ETO when the Pacific is lush with setting for those sort of stories
I've always been fascinated with stories that are variation of Drake's drum. Dead warriors coming to life to protect their land when it is invaded sometime in the future, or enemies joining to fight ancient zombies. I think there's a lot of great stories to be explored in this area.
I'd love to see you do something with the shangani patrol. I realize it's not really known in the US, but most people identify with famous Last stands. It's not a stretch to imagine a supernatural scenario. The Alamo is also an option. Lots of bad juju there. Khyber pass / last stand of the 44th at Gandamak? Maybe ghostly 44th rescues cut off Royal Anglicans? Anachronistic but fascinating.
one of the many things I love about this channel is how you literally show this story and not just tell it. and the illustration of the villains are perfect finishing touch. love the stories, man!! Beautiful work!
Great story! 👍🏻 I love the folkloric/spiritual aspect of this along with the Hawaii setting. The description of the fight between the submariner & Kekoa is full of tension. The colour artwork from Mikey is as atmospheric as usual & I particularly like the skeletonised Night Marcher! 👍🏻😃
One foot advances past the other, in completion of one step, following in the action of the other. Forward, we march! Well done, as always! Till Next Time!
Man first I was oh man a different flavor of zombie, this is disappointing. 😂😂😂 great stuff. Need to hear about that golem again. I could listen to 1 of these every night 👍🏿 (sorry, watch too)

Love this story
Native Hawaiian soldier saved by the Nightmarchers, interesting premise
When I lived in Hawaii the Night Marchers was my favorite local ghost story.

You need to get busy! I think you have some stories that need telling!
Do you know of any written sources for these? Not questioning you, but I'd like to read some of this myself.
@@erichinkle7347 My sources are that I made them up.
@@williamlydon2554 That's source enough for me! Have you started writing yet?
@@williamlydon2554 Thanks. Good luck writing those up.

Immortal cannibals, man-eating bugs, Aqua-men, armoured werewolves & now zombies. What's next? Vampires? Jinns?

I love how “Short” stories are still almost 20 minutes long 😎
Another superb story. Everything keeps getting better each time. Thank you.
Fantastic Story
Another great episode! I liked the marching sound effects at the end.
After a 24 hour shift (as a support worker), I'm settling down to this while I cook some food. The perfect combination!!
uh oh Night Marchers!!!
One foot advances past the other, in completion of one step, following in the action of the other. Forward, we march! Well done, as always! Till Next Time!
