- Join me and my buddies, Wes & Grey, as we paddled and camp down 49 miles of the Jacks Fork River near Eminence, Missouri. We finish our trip today with a short 6.5-mile paddle. I wasn't ready for it to end, but I will be back! #camping #kayaking

Thank you so much! This really was a fantastic trip. This river is now one of my favorites!!
Its true, you always do find the perfect camp spot the next morning.
Isn't it, though? LOL! Never fails!!! :-)
Great series on the Current and the Jacks Fork rivers glad you enjoyed em. Well done video hope you come back soon. Next time you might want to bring along your fishing poles some mighty good fishing in them there rivers.
Thank you very much, Richard!! I've heard several references to the fishing there since doing these videos. I agree on poles the next time!! :-)
Man I need to go Check out the jacks fork river man. I know my family would have a Blast. You had a good kayak trip Dan & I am glad you had fun man. Thanks you for sharing this video buddy.
Yes, y'all would really enjoy this one! We really had a great trip. Thanks, Mack!!
Love that river. Floated from Alley Springs to 2 rivers a couple of times. We swim at Buck Hollow. Right where it goes under the highway 17 bridge. Gonna retire in that area the end of next year. I'd like to camp on the sand bar where it runs into the current river.
How awesome! I think I could retire there, too. So many great rivers and such beauty in the Ozarks. What an amazing area! Thank you!!
Great trip! Think I'm gonna need to plan a trip out to Missouri sometime and check these rivers out
Thanks, Eric! Yes, you would LOVE these rivers! They are so beautiful (and fun) and predominantly remote. I highly recommend Jacks Fork, Current and Buffalo National (Arkansas).
Man, what a beautiful river. I enjoyed the series, Dan, and appreciate you putting these videos together for us to enjoy.
Thanks so much, Chris! We really had a great time on this trip! Preciate it, bro!!
I saw that Big Piney can! (can't sneak a good brew past me). Always got to have the local flavor on the river!
Ha, ha - when in Rome (Missouri)! Lol! It was good as was the whole trip!! Had someone mention the Niangua recently. With your vid that's two plugs for that river! :-)
@@SouthernPaddler I'm very nearby, reach out if you'd like any help planning or a fellow paddler!
@OzarkMediaCo Will do- thanks so much!! 👍👊
Always bring some Log Boat Brewing (out of Columbia) on our trips. Every time I make a trip home to Missouri we always stock up.
What an awesome trip, Dan. Thanks for taking us along, brother.
Thank you very much, John! Hope you have a blessed weekend, brother!
Good stuff. Did ya ever get to see any Elk or the Wild Horses?
Thank you very much! We didn't on this river, but we did the Current River for 5 days right before this trip and saw a herd of wild horses at Round Spring. We saw one elk on the Buffalo National River trip in Arkansas that we did last year in March. The Ozarks are an incredible place!!
Hey I watched all 3 videos and what a beautiful River! I’m wanting to float the same section as you! Do you have a phone number that shuttles you? Thanks and great video!!
Awesome!! You will love this section- it's one of my all-time favorites!! Yes, we used Two Rivers Canoe Rental for our shuttle. Their number is (573) 226-3478.
Oh, and let me know how it goes!!
@@SouthernPaddler hey thanks for the number and I got a May vacation that I’m looking at doing this!! I’ll let you know how it goes!! Thank you!
