That was bad ass!
Definitely kick ass!
I knew Elize Ryd could sing, but this proves what a powerhouse she is. As for all the comments about the lyric sheets, is that Jake E or Alexander Strandell singing with the dyed red hair? If Alexander Strandell, then he's not part of the studio band, so i wouldn't be surprised if he didn't know the lyrics. If Jake E, then maybe they sing lyrics in different languages?
Nothing short of amazing!!
ooo the gains a bit high on those vocal mics!
Still, a fucking kickass performance.
Meu deus esses dois canta muito bem
Elize is amazing
That ending... Nice :)
This one kicks ass! However, the sound is a bit too loud so it's distorted just a little bit...
Guys lay off them having to read their lyrics, did you all stop to think maybe English isn't their first language?
we actually did not read the lyrics we read the arrangement, :-)
Lololololololol.
tune the fucking guitar! lol
Seems like the red haired guy reads the lyrics for the first time...
Normally a different band member sings them, that's why.
I love this band but it is kinda offputting that every acoustic performance i see they have the lyrics out in from of them. I can understand that for the harsh vocal part bc they dont usually sing that part, but when you are staring at the lyrics even in the chorus idk just seems weird to me. Still love it
Not a fan of bands needing to read their lyrics it kinda takes away from the performance, especially when it's a song they play all the time.
Citysin Angels It's because some of those parts are the "harsh vocals" that their third singer usually sings, so he was actually singing some liens that aren't really his in the song.... listen to the cd version and you'll understand
Really? You've got to read the lyrics of your own songs?
Richard Stanley the original song has growls and they're not used to sing those parts.
***** you are 100% correct. I'm a musician as well (drums) and I know every note of the song. Damn sure if my band wrote it!
+Richard Stanley it's not necessarily only lyrics. He perhaps wrote some notes or personal indications... They rearranged the song, probably quickly to play on acoustics (sometimes, you have to make things really fast when you're a pro making some promo stuff)
+Richard Stanley you shoul get informed first but no lets write comments -.-, they have those papers because they make changes to the song or something (i dodn't really know cause i did not see the papers) but in every accoustic cover they have papers like that so i doubt it's lyrics and they don't remember them ok
I heard the reason they sometimes have to have lyrics on paper is because English is not their first Language so sometimes they have trouble and need a little guild nothing wrong with a little help if it means they don't mess up then I have no problem with any band needing the lyrics
shit.
Kind of sad that they dont know their own lyric
They know, English isn't their first language
+Tommi Auvinen Even so you should know your own song
+Glitter Lord well true, but reading the lyrics could help with prounouncing and everything
It also helps concentrating, when you have the lyrics in front of you (although you know them) I find it easier to concentrate on the performance because you don't have to worry about getting a line wrong ;)
@@biancamaecovers689 id rather have a singer messing up the lyrics (happens to Sharon den Adel a lot) than someone starring at a paper. As a musician you know how to improvise when a mistake happens. And mistakes can happen. That what makes it a live Performance :-)
