They are the first band I seen that uses the newer tech to it's fullest!! Wish samples and triggers. These guys also know how to set their own gear up and use it. They have been mixing them selves for years. Me being a drummer I do they same for my drum sound. I run all my own gear. It's a good trait to have when you want to convey something to a sound engineer and you can understand what he is talking about.
This band has been an inspiration and favorite since the first time I saw them live and was blown away they were not the headliners back in 2014 opening for Killswitch Engage, Five Finger Death Punch, and Hell Yeah. They truly possess incredible talent and worked their way to be at the top. They deserve far more acclaim despite their already massive success nearly a decade later. I would love to see them playing alongside Metallica, another favorite and inspiration growing up. The heart and soul felt in the music aside from the talent is up there with some of the greatest bands, and they've kept notching up with every new release. Can't wait to catch them again on tour. Cheers, and God bless 🙏🏻
sugarhighwhoo There's a difference between ranging that note and a high head voice. A lot of post-hardcore bands have singers with that high of a head voice, but have little to no range. Anthony Green is hands down the only one in the post-hardcore genre who can truly compare to this guy.
MarsCandyBar Jonny Craig, Jag, tyler carter, danny worsnop, and many more all have very good ranges. I'll agree that his vocal style is closer to Anthony Green perhaps, but in terms of who can hit what notes there are many that are on par. Which goes back to what I originally was commenting on: "there are only a handful of guys who can hit that high of a note", I never said anything about ranges.
sugarhighwhoo i agree, i know multiple vocalists hwo get higher, some too high. Danny Worsnop can't, however. He is also terrible live unless they've greatly improved in the past year. When I saw him, he couldnt even finish a full line without getting winded
They just went back into the studio beginning of the year! So if we're lucky maybe at the end of the year, but knowing how crazy involved their music is, probably not until next year unfortunately.
+Andrew Pettitt If it took them two years to write their self-titled album, (which is a musical, lyrical, thematic, narrative masterpiece), then I think it's worth the wait. They've never disappointed, and I know they intend on keeping it that way.
You won't regret it. They opened for another band that was my first time seeing, who I had been wanting to see forever so Nothing More made it that much better, and Nothing More stole the show. I didn't even care to see the other band after them lol
Great band, even better live. Saw them last November in Birmingham. Sooooo good. Made a mistake and dropped his sticks XD. Guy was professional, picked them up and carried on.
Who disliked this video and WHY?? THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING. I had the awesome opportunity to see them recently at a local, small club and they are extremely talented and very personable!
I understand what you mean. There is not only one kind of metal. This is more metal than alt rock, but less metal than metalcore or deathcore, doom and so on.... Pop rock ? no fckn way bro ! Pop rock is U2 .. come on. These kind of bands are priceless cause they are over labels ! Like Enter Shikari are !
This is the first song I decided to listen to after purchasing my new headphones. Easily the most money I've ever spent on a pair of headphones... and I am blown away.
The middle of the night is the worst time to find this band for the first time. How am I going to be able to sleep now, I have to watch EVERYTHING with them! Crap.
I love watching the boost in energy every time one of them nails their vocals. The emotion and precision. It definitely makes this a visual and audio experience that most bands just can't match, especially in a studio recording like this. They aren't feeding off of the audience, just themselves and their love for music. Amazing!
chickenator84 you're totally right! Most of the time, bands are very low energy, no movement, especially in studio performances. These guys put everything into their music, every single time
I've seen them about 5 times. Listened to every Video on the internet and own all their music personally and I can honestly say that every time I see them.. I'm still floored with how good they are. This is 'real' music at it's best. Notice how much production they get out the limited shit they have there with them? That's because they are ACTUALLY that good. A few minor effects and it sounds like the album. Just ridiculous.
Justin B. - I've seen them 12x now. I've seen them 3 nights in a row, same set list each night. Even still, it's like a brand new experience every time. The energy and emotion keeps every performance fresh
I got to see these guys a year ago at Paradise Rock Club in Boston, and it was by far the best live performance I have ever seen. In addition to being amazing musicians, they're awesome entertainers and they put on an unforgettable show that night. Fucking perfect.
I love Johnny's hype throughout this song. I love watching him preform, you can't help but want to jump around with him. Amazing and talented artists! Love Nothing More!
Can't explain how much I love not only the song but this version.. seen these guys in monroe. Met mark.. nicest, coolest dude ever.. but great performers and great musicians.. love the guys..
I've seen these guys twice... first time opening for Pop Evil, second time opening for Periphery. They absolutely stole the show both times. So much energy!!!! I knew they were going somewhere quick. Going to see them in February as headliners. Not to mention 3 Grammy nominations in a predominantly hip/hop/rap year. Great job fellow Texans!!!!!
ColoradoViking088 actually this guy has a much larger range and greater power than Maynard, who couldn't begin to sing most of choruses from this album. Maynard's style is more just to sing with more subtle than power or range, which everyone and their mother started to copy once Tool became popular
***** uh, no. The power in any MJK song sounds really forced and not right. Also, the highest note in this song is an F6, that's 10 notes higher than the highest note in Ticks and Leeches (G5). But the thing is, it's apples to oranges. Personally I think MJK sounds great when he just sings, it has this amazing subtle quality, just as much as I enjoy the amazing chops of this guy. But like I said, apples to oranges, and art is subjective.
This song means a lot to me; the words absolutely resonate deeply to my core. When I need that boost of motivation, it’s my go to. Johnny, and the rest of you guys… you are BAD ASS. Keep on doing what you do and letting that line shine through.

I heard this on the radio, and about lost it... I am so glad my double din can record this. Sat outside walmart and listened to it about 5 times.
I frickin love the way he can drop from screaming at the top of his lungs into sweet, melodic, melancholic lines.
This band is absolutely off the charts. Freakin FANTASTIC group.
The lead singer has one of the better vocal ranges I've ever heard. There are only a handful of guys who can hit that high of a note.
You're listening to the wrong genre then. Most post-hardcore bands have singers that can hit high notes like that.
sugarhighwhoo There's a difference between ranging that note and a high head voice.
Spencer Sotelo of Periphery.
sugarhighwhoo i agree, i know multiple vocalists hwo get higher, some too high.
Danny Worsnop can't, however. He is also terrible live unless they've greatly improved in the past year.
When I saw him, he couldnt even finish a full line without getting winded
Totally Amazing
The trio of vocals made this beyond amazing.
Obsessed with 4:13 - 4:17, fuck. His vocals are insane. So much talent from the rest of the band as well.
I am making it my mission to see this band live this year.
These guys are amazing, and their worldview is remarkable.
Truly the band that rock NEEDS!
They just went back into the studio beginning of the year! So if we're lucky maybe at the end of the year, but knowing how crazy involved their music is, probably not until next year unfortunately.
+Andrew Pettitt
If it took them two years to write their self-titled album, (which is a musical, lyrical, thematic, narrative masterpiece), then I think it's worth the wait.
The subtle change to the end of the chorus makes this song 1000x better.
Who disliked this video and WHY?? THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING. I had the awesome opportunity to see them recently at a local, small club and they are extremely talented and very personable!
Everyday i listen to this song :)
The 67 people who disliked this video, need to reassess their definition of music.
they where watching it upside down :3
Casey C for real!
Casey C, блять, понимать бы о чём вы все пишите)))
This whole band is immensely talented. Of anyone here doesnt know what the Scorpion Tail is, i auggest you look that up
The band built it themselves.
These guys are the future of metal
Konner Rinehart but they're just a rock band
Yah this isn't metal, sorry. xD Future of alternative rock? I'd say this is a great step up.
Not metal
Pop rock but good
I understand what you mean.
Ive never seen a vocalist get into his music this much since Eddie. Love these guys man.
These guys put everything into their music, every single time
I want to hear this song just once...said no one ever :D blasting repeat until they disable the button, amazing
I've seen them once just about a month ago and yes I was fuckikg floored at the end of the show only.othe band that's floored me has been tool
I definitely like this version better than their studio release. Just cant get enough of this song. Such power and energy.
Iasaneli i love your profil pic
Yes very underrated band. I saw them live in Knoxville and was blown away.
Какие красавцы! Супер! From Russia with love.
I've been contemplating this for a while, and I've realised Jonny may just be the best singer I've ever heard.
This needs to be Recorded in a Studio and made into a Single.
This version is available on iTunes and Google music
Jonny's vocals never cease to impress me. Such a beautiful, versatile, powerful yet soothing voice, I could listen to it non-stop for days.
Jonny is absolutely awesome, I've met him (and the rest of the band) in person, but the way Daniel just handles everything! Goosebumps ❤️
Can't explain how much I love not only the song but this version.. seen these guys in monroe. Met mark.. nicest, coolest dude ever.. but great performers and great musicians.. love the guys..
This one is addictive
I've seen these guys twice... first time opening for Pop Evil, second time opening for Periphery. They absolutely stole the show both times. So much energy!!!! I knew they were going somewhere quick. Going to see them in February as headliners. Not to mention 3 Grammy nominations in a predominantly hip/hop/rap year. Great job fellow Texans!!!!!
That was.. awesome. I just heard of these guys about a month back and now I have to hear em every day.
I am 64 rock music has saved me ..my favorite band NOTHING MORE!!!!!
2:13 - Amazing! x]
Love his voice... Second fav singer (next to Myles Kennedy).
He is my 2nd fav to Maynard James Keenan.
I'm right there with you, Maynard for president
ColoradoViking088 actually this guy has a much larger range and greater power than Maynard, who couldn't begin to sing most of choruses from this album. Maynard's style is more just to sing with more subtle than power or range, which everyone and their mother started to copy once Tool became popular
BR0K3NARCH3TYP3 and what does this have to do with MJK being my favorite?
Wow this was fantastic. One of the best albums ive heard and I actually bought it on accident without knowing much about them. What a pleasant surprise it was.
Found this band and Highly Suspect back in 2014 when I had Sirius XM. Two of my favorites still today
0:52 I don’t know why I love that so much but I do
Me too, i get chills everytime
Absolutely amazing. I looped this many times till 1:27 and go back to 0:52. I haven't known this band at all and was a bit disappointed by the original version after this acoustic one!
INSANE..... Best "acoustic" version EVER... Nothing more... nothing less.... the F'n BEST. A master piece
I can't stop watching this video. It almost brings me to tears
Wow! Just the honesty and love the world needs. Blown completely away❤❤❤
Is it just me, or is this the sickest acoustic performance of all fucking time?
