Using 1 line (Fluoro) I make a double dropper loop leader about 6 ft long for saltwater rock cod & lings (50 or 60 lb testt). Evenly space 2 bightes on a 7 ft pc of line. Once bight is formed tie an overhand knot but pass tip through knot 5 or 6 times, wet & draw tight. Proceed with the dropper loop as you did here (5 or 6 twists before passing loop through it.) Wet & pull tight. Clip 1 side of loop to tie on your hook or fly or lure. I cut about 1/8" from t knot then mushroom the cut & flatten it while warm to form a stopper. My swivel snap attaches to a triple overhand surgeon knot at the top (small) & a lg 1 at the bottom big enough to be able to loop around up to a 1 lb cannonball weight but I prefer a torpedo wt. to beat everyone else to the bottom for a chance at 1st strike from aggressive lings. My knot of choice for the hook is a jansek special. 100% strength knot & fast & easy - feed tag through eye twice then feed tag through 2 sm loops just formed three times. Pull tight. Its right when tag sticks out at a 90 degree angle from main & looks like a sm monkey fist knot. Never failed me yet.
