Thank you for video Dan 🙂👍, I think your brother will be happy your doing the spreading because of the smell 😄, question how is your brother getting on with the construction of Dan's Massey Ferguson tractor museum in Wiltshire, is it opening soon ???🤔👍
Pre mowing grass that's been grazed 3-4 times early on in the season is a real game changer- I managed 280 cows with laid out paddocks, all about 2.5 acres and pre mowed paddocks for the cows, using a plate meter as guidance, like the rest of the grazing and the cows didn't leave anything at all, v v occasionally if one had got too far ahead of pre mowing, yea there'd be a few bits left. Used a front mower, set so it didn't scalp the grass but left enough for grass to regrow but also if there wasn't quite enough standing grass to mow, the cows still had something to munch on. It worked very well.
Your Urea/sulphur fertiliser will only smell if it is damp and warm. It looked like that was what it was like in the bag! Urea is much longer lasting than AN so you could do 2 months worth in one go and save a lot of time.
Great video Dan. Enjoyed watching. 👍🏼👍🏼

Yes, it's a good system when done carefully
Never too old to learn new skills 👌
Trying to steer according to the colour of those lights would drive me nuts. I'd leave it to your bruv, if I were you.
I'm sure you would manage it old shool without the GPS Dan
Hopefully you didn’t miss as much as I did with the guidance 😆🤦♂
No need for L plates Dan.👍Nice vlog! Did it rain tomorrow?
Yes it did 🌧
I'm not a farmer but enjoy your videos. Is it ok to let cows graze where you have just spread urea?
Yes, no problem at all.

No pand k you'll regret that
Bollocks, he spreads slurry so there’s plenty of p and k!
We haven't regretted not using p and k for a good 25 years on the home farm.
