Thank you for the video Dan, all colours of tractors I see including that ghastly green thing 🙄 well done in bringing your hay in, unfortunately we're still to get ours done but the weather has other ideas, just like 2023 !! F-ing rain!! 😡👍
Oh heck! You’ve finished your hay making and I’ve not even started 😭🤦♂. Some lovely looking grass you’ve bales up, I reckon the cows will be very happy 👍👌
It's good to see you getting hay all made Dan I don't think it will stay dry long enough up here in Scotland to make hay were getting heavy down pours just now
Rather be a little fed up with making feed, then run out in the winter. I'm happy for all the farmers, that made a good hay crop for themselves and others.
Good video Dan 👍 an well played against the weather 🤔 that looks to be a very healthy amount of hay bales in store 👌 which stock will be getting most of the hay as winter forage 🤔 glad to see you have good neighbours that will help out when the going gets tough 👌
It is definitely a good feeling getting a crop in before the dreaded arrives, looked like nice stuff. Nothing quite like the smell of a barn full of nice hay wafting around in the evening either. What is it likely to be fed to and why not do more clamp silage instead might I ask? When dairy farming we did all hay and barley years and years ago , hay seems to be coming back a bit perhaps drier for loose housed cattle ? I assume if talking litres of milk per acre silage wins, even accounting for the nitrogen and slurry handling side of it. One wonders , weather aside, if profit per litre could be as good with lighter kit , good old dung, hay and barley these days, your thoughts?

Great video dan, no need for big expensive telehandlers there, the 7610 and the little Kubota do the job well, of course with experienced drivers 👍👍

We're getting short of clamp space so had to make extra hay, we wouldn't normally make that much.
Another good bit of footage and, as ever, a great commentary. You must be well satisfied with your fodder situation already ?
Yes, just waiting for second cut silage now.
I thought big bale hay had to be left out for a few days? To stop them catching fire?
Not when the hay is fully dry
Great video again 👏
Weather and time the farmers friend or the farmers enemy?
Hay in the barn is as good as cash in the bank.
👍👍🇮🇪🇮🇪👏👏💪💪🙏🙏
Always good to see the 7610 out to help 👌
You be far better with a telehandler wouldn't have to double handle them .
