Nice comparison. Behringer may need to be added a little bit of gain at 200-700hz with EQ, as Rode has more lows. But both sound great and I'm considering getting B1 since I'm on a tight budget
The nt1 is uber quiet (Rode claim it's the quietest out there) at 5 dbA. But the Behringer still shouldn't be too bad at 13 dbA (if that number is correct. I always take their specs with a grain of salt which about the same as a U87). The B1 needed 7.5 dB more gain so there's probably a bit more preamp noise too.
Nice difference from where I am sat listening on a laptop I can't hear any difference. Nice video I mean man. Thanks for making this it helps people compare the mics.
Im listening on my monitors and phone reference, and havent difference, a little bit of eq and it becomes equal. But the noise floor on the Rode is amazing!
I enjoyed the clarity of my Behringer B1 but found it always captured siblance in my voice, and maybe distorted slightly on my voice at certain frequencies. I bought a Rode NT1a as a supposed upgrade but so far find it dull and boomy, the exact opposite of what it is promoted as on both voice and acoustic guitar. I keep looking for a shelf switch and even wonder if i have it the wrong way around. Admitedly, working solo i don't experiment much with positioning, but a rough guess was always fine with the behringer. Seems with the Rode I'll need a team of engineers? 😔
barely a noticeable difference, but the nt1-a is "smoother"... but after the eventuality of a highpass, some eq, compression and fx... Id have a harder time telling the difference. Maybe on an instrument you'd capture more detail on more expensive mics coupled with expensive pres and outboard gear. For the majority of home studios with untreated surfaces, noisy hvacs and consumer lvl usb interfaces a B1 is fine. Also you have very good control with your voice. You probably sound great on any setup. There are voices that a 4k mic won't fix. Lol.
Nice Compression is Not To much Differences Different brand Can't Sound the Same Sound All is mixing to Get The Right Tone Some Mixing Own rode Nt1a still not get butter sound Every Vocal is Different U Have Know I will go for B1 no bass much Rode Bosst Bass That is why it sound little warmer
I think Rode NT1 sounds a little better, a little more power in lows and a little less background noise but it too much expensive (around 148€ in March 2018) than Behringer B1 (105€). If the B1 has 5 years and sound as appears on video, it a good choice for me. What happens is the Rode, by 148€ comes with the spider and the anti pop that you would have to buy separately of the Behringer and then the prize difference is lower. If you need spider and anti pop, I would take the Rode.
my issues is that your really far away from both of the mics and the room tone is very apparent. i cant see the room but judging the blue sliding curtains in the background i dont feel the room is built to handle the distance of singing. thanks for the effort but both sound bad IMO.
The B1 has more highs.... both sound great. The B1 price tag is very good compared to the NT1, so if price is important, the B1 is the winner.
Купил себе b1, очень нравится. Пою, пишу, друзья оценили. До этого пел в синхайзер 835
Thanks for this. The Rode's sound is much fuller.

Big difference in the noise floor, that's for sure.

I think the Rode is more forgiving; warmer.
The Rode had a more fuller sound compared to the Behringer.
it sounds much cleaner I have both microphones the difference is very audible in studio monitors
i like behringer B1 for price and sound
Nice difference from where I am sat listening on a laptop I can't hear any difference. Nice video I mean man. Thanks for making this it helps people compare the mics.
A small difference exists, but it's better perceived if you listen to this on headphones. Thanks for your comment.

0:28 you said "the rode" when you sing with a rode mic XD
"The road", but yeah, quite a phonetic coincidence.
Your vocals are really good
Ничего не понял, но очень интересно
The test SHOULD be done again, this time with the Beringer having the -10db switch turned off.
The Behringer didn't have the -10dB switched on. That's the thing: it's naturally quieter than the Rode.
@@KlausSgroi Ok, thanks for the reply.
Good Golly Miss Molly!
Now that is what I was looking for! I comprehend.
Thanks for the video, really :D

Nice Compression is Not To much Differences

I have both mics.i love b1 as o dont need to much eq if I mix a vocals with music.rode is overrated but need lot of EQ if you mix vocals with music .
個人的にはB-1よりもNT1-Aの方が高音の広がりが良いと感じました。
B-1は声がおさまっているように聞こえ、MIXの時に他の音に負けてしまうような気がします
Now I'm selecting a microphone for my home records and have to consider the price difference between this two is justified.
Ouvi ao vivo .... Parabéns...rsrs...
I'll get a B1 also because my budget is low.
So with a deeper male voice go with with the Behringer and for Mid to High male voice go with the Rode!

The behringer comes with a spider as well
There was less noise captured with the rode mic.. dont know if its because he had to boost a lil the b1.
Is very good B2 pro
The Rode is a bit muffled but other than that quite OKish.
wena frusciante
Rode sounds better, fuller but not much. Maybe because of it has the larger diaphragm.
nt1 is better in tone and lower noise. huge huge difference
haha. huge is the price difference
Haha.. There is no huge difference between two mics. It's a rumor. :)
@klausssgroi What audio interface dou you use it?
Did you notice that for periods you were further away from the mic when singing into the Behringer? This would make a difference!
Just a little, but the NT1-A is louder one way or another.
wow
Behringer deep voice problems
Same
I can't here some difference
Yep, b1 for sure. More ditails of voice
Nt1 won!!!!
but is more expensive maybe double price so im not so sure

begringer deep voice problem
Bering
No noticeable difference.
Rode is warmer and has richer sound; Behringer is so dull
Hard to disagree.
Nt1-a is better
no lowering your voice for advertising purposes maaan no no no respect
Behringer is better
