No quant fund manager has shared so much as Dr Chan! For me who has no financial background, i am thankful that he shared his knowledge generously, this has given me confidence that my intuition of having both mean reversion and momentum driven strategy is the right path.
I always wanted to learn algorithm/ quant trading but did not have any skills needed. Being an actuarial student, now here I come with strong computer skills, coding, ML and grasp of Ai, with. All mathematics and economics plus with already a trading background. I now understand this all. I think I might try quant trading. My current skills are highly transferable to be a quant trading? P.s: Thank you doctor Chan for such a brilliant content. Followed you on twitter.

I always wondered why Ernie said with his momentum strategies he ups the leverage by 5x to the latter mean reversion strategy , I now understand why...
Thank you for your comment! There may have been a mix-up, as the person you're referring to (Ernesto Chan, a comics artist) seems to be someone else. No worries, though-it's an easy mistake to make! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or need clarification.
