Fantastic video. Why do you not use the mean reversion in the bear market regime ?

This just so much informative. One of the best videos on UA-cam on trading.

Best video on strategy I've watched during the past year! And per Mike's question about whether to use signals from index or from leveraged etfs, I'm going with using the indexes.. I'm relatively inexperienced but I'm pretty sure I read this somewhere in the blogs (maybe by someone else? ) on stockcharts.com of which I am a member. Thanks again for such a well thought out and well-presented video.

Thanks for sharing this video Arthur, you give us some really nice information there. I do have one question though. When you did the analysis for the leveraged ETFs did you use the data from the leveraged ETF for your signal or did you get the signal from the index they track. For instance today Sunday 3/10/19 on the SPY the 5SMA is above the 200SMA, but SSO has the 5SMA below the 200SMA. Both have RSI5 below 30, and if we get an up day tomorrow RSI5 can go positive on both and we may get a buy signal from the actual index we are tracking "SPY" but SSO may still say no signal. Thanks in advance and have a great day.

Finally a good video on reversion trading instead of momentum trading like every pimple face teaches on you tube...

And something I forgot to add to my other comment, I appreciate most of all the backtesting info provided. That is something that is not easy for someone like me to do (much less inexpensive in time and money). So in case one of the experts from Stockcharts is looking for suggestions for subjects for future videos, any form of information about backtesting whether it is "how to" or "results" oriented is ALWAYS appreciated by me.

We'll keep this in mind. Thanks for the input, Alice!
