@@ninjanarutonightman Granblues kinda the same as FF14s community. I would say a majority of the people interested are good spirited and not toxic in the elitist sense.
Granblue fantasy was always meant to be a jrpg.
I tried watching the anime once. Might be just me, but it's pretty boring. But i can see 15 years old me addicted to this.
@@SetiKt The anime is ok. The writing shows how new they were at the time. The story in the mobile game has been amazing lately but sadly it would be impossible to adapt as they may need 15-20 seasons.
I am extremely proud of cygames, the fact that they have full belief in their IP and going on from a Gacha to not just 1, but 2 full blown games makes me really happy. I still casually play the gacha from time to time but this kinda stuff moves me.

Granblue Fantasy Relink is my RPG of the year just after playing the Demo. It's too much fun playing all the characters with other people, I can't wait to play this game!!!

@lord461 Even if it is the beginning of the year, I don't blame him, highly anticipated game, the demo is really fun, it will hopefully be the top RPG this year.
I mean it has the potential to be. I love the setting. Feels like it's leaning on the classic final fantasy fantasy setting which is one of my favourites.
And the character designs are amazing.
And combat is fluid, and looks like it will get difficult and has coop. I think this could be something really special. Parts of it remind me a bit of phantasy star online as well which is great thing.
But at the same time there are so many RPGs this year. But I'm hyped. Definitely gonna make time for it alongside ff7, persona 3 and Yakuza 8

the lore gets crazy later on in the original game; some characters are very compelling and have some of the best designs in any anime-related media I've experienced. The story is so long however - I wonder how much of it will this game cover, because holy. Also, make my boy Grimnir playable asap, Cygames.

i been wanting to see some more gameplay of this before i decided to buy it, definitely even more excited now!
I actually just realized that they have proper lip sync for English, you don't see that often at all. I normally stick to JP but I appreciate that the devs put in the effort for something as simple as that

I played the demo and immediately pre-ordered it tho i never played or seen anything Grand Blue related, that’s how good the gameplay was especially multiplayer.
If you want more, I can recommend Granblue Fantasy Versus Relink. It has a full blown RPG mode and a minigame akin to Fall Guys called Gran Bruise Legends.
There's also a free version so you can try before you buy. It also looks like you can play the original campaign of GBVS base game.

@@phil_zupra_b5880 I just play fighting games for the story so I stopped playing them a while. But now minigames and stuff are coming back to them so I've been getting back in.
There's a free trial, it's only like 12 gigs or something low. The RPG mode is kinda like playing Streets of Rage

Demo was pretty solid. I'll wait for reviews but enjoyed the quests especially the last rock golem fight. considering these are very early game bosses, It gets me excited to see more for sure. Hope it reviews well

Playing GBF for 6 years now and know how their other IPs, I can probably guess the color on the World Map thing. That was super interesting to me. Relink is already preordered, waited a long time for this. LMAO at the "Active Lore Part".
I normally don't play gacha, but I did play Princess Connect. I miss that game SO MUCH! It got me through some rough times...

Never played the gacha or anything. I played the demo and it was pretty good.
I'm just wondering, with apparently 20 playable characters, how are they going to make a cohesive story and give time to every character?
Main Story focuses only on the 7 starting characters. However each character has their backstory explained in something called "Fate Episodes", basically VN styled cutscenes that tell you how the characters joined the crew.
@antgc8893 I'll probably be getting it day one, but I guess if everyone at least gets some screen time that's pretty good.

I think the combat is even more character action game than that. Also it seems to have two modes.
A story mode, and online monster hunter style lobby where you can queue up missions and boss fights. I really like the demo, combat feels pretty great.
Hope you play Library of Ruina Garnt. It recently got a trailer for ps4 and Nintendo switch. It was first in steam, and second in XBOX. Hope you play the Project Moon game's Garnt.

Relink is a Cygames and Platinum production. That's why the combat is clean.
platinum dropped out of the project extremely early. they havent worked on this version of the game. the game was re worked and developed on a different engine then the original

We have One Piece, MHA, Doraemon, Detective Conan, Persona 5, Card Captor Sakura, Love Live, Princess Connect, Attack on Titan, Code Geass, Touken Ranbu, Bobobo, Hello Kitty, Final Fantasy XI, Jujutsu Kaisen, Umamusume, Demon Slayer, Idolmaster, Shadowverse, Street Fighter, and Shingeki no Bahamut.
