Whenever I am actively making changes or updates on a website I try to take backups every day (a least every 2 days) while downloading and moving one within a week to my Google Drive, so I know I can always get a recent update.
You might as well still have a backup of your recent backup with your hosting provider, you could ask them to help restore a backup to a time before the website went offline.

In my case, the /wp-content/ai1wm-backups folder did not had write permissions. After setting the correct permissions I was able to upload or transfer the file.

Please try downgrading your WordPress version to that of 6.0. The updated WordPress version seems to prevent successful migrations with the All-in-one Migration plugin
You should downgrade your site's WordPress version to 6.3.2 using WP downgrade plugin, and give it another try. Currently there are some conflict with the updated versions of WordPress, with the provided plugin's version.

I removed a new version of all-in-one-wp-migration and installed your version 6.7 from your site. I tried two options: restoring immediately uploading a file and backup. File weighted 700Mb. Eventually it stuck with the message: "Done restoring database. Please do not close this browser window or your import will fail".
Turns out with the updated WordPress version 6.4 is causing the backup to get stuck at some point. What you need to do is: downgrade the wordpress version (use WP downgrade plugin) to 6.0 and then give it another try. I was facing the same thing this morning.

Hi! The 6.7 version has a limit of 512 upload size even tho I changed the maximum upload limit to 900MB! The latest version had 900MB as maximum limit, but the 6.7 version tells me it's mandatory to pay in order to upload files bigger than 512mb :(
is the website in question a fresh install if it is? Then you should reinstall WordPress on the domain again and restart the process. Given the plugin hasn't changed since i made the video you'd always find the restore button on there.
I am glad I could help & I couldn't agree with you more. Had the same problem weeks back when working on an intense project. I don't 100% blame Elementor since they have system requirements a web hosting environment is suppose to maintain. So, when a site begins to hit certain limits, be it inode or memory this error is bound to happen.

The problem I'm having is I can't get All In One Migration Unlimited to finish downloading my 2GB site, it stops the process 150mb-490mb (I've tried 5 times and I have a strong web signal). So sorry, for some reason this comment was held in review and i havent visited that section of my dashboard in a long time. In such case, I'd advice you download the backup file directly from the account's cPanel, that always seems to work for me without interruptions. You can also do the same from the plugin we used in this video
Great Video, but it did not work for me. Got stuck on 97% complete. Before I found your video, it was getting stuck on 87% complete. At least 10% better. Any answers, the file is only 293 MB
Hey Derrick, I would advise you to upload the exported file from the previous website through the File Manager of your Cpanel. I honestly don't know why I didn't illustrate that method in this video. But using the Cpanel file manager makes the upload process much easier and uninterrupted.

im actually still running into the same issue. It starts the process but then stalls at 88% . I have even deactivated almost all plugins to see that that helps but it doesn;t. Any ideas? @victorchinedu

@@victorchinedu thanks for your help. It turns out the issue was not the WP version. When the restore process was beginning, it was adding a file (wp-stack-cache.php) in the mu-plugins folder of the theme. Once i deleted it, the spinning stopped and it completed the process. :)
Of course, if you don't find the update button, easily deactivate and remove its plugin then you can install the updated version in the WordPress plugin's directory
once thats done can you install it back to the latest version, I also dont trust old version on random website thats the problem just being honest, old versions from random websites can have viruses and malware, i know it would probably work, very informative video, but I just want to know if its safe, I have a big website and I cant afford unnecessary issues like avirus or hacks... update: I just checked for viruses and hacks its all good, but my file is too big and its not allowing me to restore even with 6.7

If you can navigate your way through the file manager on your hosting cpanel
It would be best you uploaded it using that route.

Great Video, but it did not work for me. Got stuck on 97% complete. Before I found your video, it was getting stuck on 87% complete. At least 10% better. Any answers, the file is only 293 MB
Hey Derrick, I would advise you to upload the exported file from the previous website through the File Manager of your Cpanel.
I honestly don't know why I didn't illustrate that method in this video.
But using the Cpanel file manager makes the upload process much easier and uninterrupted.

great job! Is there a way to get past the upload limit issue? My file is more than 512MB and the plugin stops me and requires a paid extension. "The file that you are trying to import is over the maximum upload file size limit of 512 MB.
You can remove this restriction by purchasing our Unlimited Extension."

im actually still running into the same issue. It starts the process but then stalls at 88% . I have even deactivated almost all plugins to see that that helps but it doesn;t. Any ideas? @victorchinedu
@@coreyg25 Downgrade your WordPress version to 6.0 using the "WP downgrade" plugin. Once downgraded, give it another try. You can always upgrade the WordPress site's version once the migration is complete.
@@victorchinedu thanks for your help. It turns out the issue was not the WP version. When the restore process was beginning, it was adding a file (wp-stack-cache.php) in the mu-plugins folder of the theme. Once i deleted it, the spinning stopped and it completed the process. :)
The restore backup was stuck too
File manager plugin dint work for me . I had to upload using the control panel file manager. It worked thanks.

Of course, if you don't find the update button, easily deactivate and remove its plugin then you can install the updated version in the WordPress plugin's directory

once thats done can you install it back to the latest version, I also dont trust old version on random website thats the problem just being honest, old versions from random websites can have viruses and malware, i know it would probably work, very informative video, but I just want to know if its safe, I have a big website and I cant afford unnecessary issues like avirus or hacks... update: I just checked for viruses and hacks its all good, but my file is too big and its not allowing me to restore even with 6.7

Mine is taking too long. Getting stuck on Restoring files.... 84% complete. My file size is only 300MB.
Please try downgrading your wordpress version to 6.3.2 using the plugin "WP Downgrade." Then give it another try and let me know if that works.
I've tried using version 6.3.2 but did not help. Sadly stuck again at 87%, I think it is unable to processing the uploaded file (below blue bar stucked on last tick). P.S. I've used MAMP and wordpress to host locally@@victorchinedu

Hey there. I thought this was going to save the day, but I'm having issues. I've done everything I can with the vid, but it won't let me upload the file through the file manager plugin. Where yours had the progress, mine (progress bar) is super fast but nothing happens and it says something but it's too fast to read. I've made sure the size limit wasincreased, but nothing happens. Could you please advise? Thank you so much!!
try uploading it through hosting cPanel instead of file manager. Had the same issue.
