Here is my little input on fitting an aftermarket stereo whilst keeping the factory Audi Bose system on my Audi S3 8L. This puts people off doing as looking at the wiring can be very daunting as they are complicated and do not seem to make any sense.
In this video I will talk through the wiring I have done to keep full function of the rear amplified speakers and factory subwoofer.

Why didnt u use a harness?

Also why dont u connect FM antena, does it cause any problems if connected?
I would never keep the factory amp, I just bought a 1.8L non quottro model and the speaker/amp system is so tinny and disgusting I'm just going to bypass all of it and put new speakers in. I'd usually like to keep the factory speaker plugs etc intact but in this case I think I'm gonna have to bypass the entire thing. Thanks for the video.

It didn't but I fixed it now 👍
Did you connect the wire from fusebox to memory or igntion. I have a Alpine unit so I think is little diffrent than Sony
