I grew up on the east side of Detroit. I now left in the early 80s . I would love if you cruise my old neighborhood. Its Dickerson and Harper. I lived on Hampshire. It would greatly appreciated
Night and day difference between Eight and Seven Mile roads. Eight Mile is large and busy enough to offer a (false?) feeling of safety. Seven Mile is...scary,
@@TeoDocs yea I just noticed because maybe someone were to be avoided in a scenario where someone could be chasing you down, was half joking. I myself did a driver's test today and passed and was around Eastpointe, didn't have the luxury to roll through em. Or I had the luxury to stop, more like😂
I grew up here in the 50s, 60s. Used to be really nice. Two (2) people should be held accountable for its demise. Coleman Young and Kwayme Kilpatrick. Coleman Young passed away after hiding gold in his ceiling he stole. His bastard son, who he never recognized, took his name and is now in Detroit politics. Kwayme was convicted of lies, theft, and about everything else he and his posse could do. BOTH WERE FORMER MAYORS. First African American D town mayors. Detroit 80% African American voted a white mayor in last time around. Kwayme is back in D town after TRUMP PARDONED HIM. Now running scams as a religious minister. CANT MAKE THIS CRAP UP! Goood bye D town they killed you!
Yea it’s probably the worst side of the city honestly and definitely night time but it does get a bad wrap as long as you mind your business you’ll be fine I’ve never had a problem I’ve been coming here since I was little to visit family
Generally, young men in Detroit are generally sleeping in and come out around noon, and remain out until about 2:00 AM. From sunrise until noon, it's pretty quiet. Women are far more prevalent, all working, gainfully employed.
@@davidsonaglia7317 I don't know if there is still a public High School (Osborn) there, but that area was buzzing 10 years ago. I don't know if the school is still there. Schools close, get a new group of teachers and students, then dissolve the school, change the name, lather, rinse, and repeat.

So the truck on the right pulled up just to get in FRONT of the car. And they didn’t put no blinker on. 2:25

A little narrative would be helpful. Cross streets, etc.

1:24, was convinced there for a second that this man was getting carjacked with those thumps. And after rolling through those stop signs.
In Detroit no one stops at stop signs or red lights lol and go down the wrong way down a one way

The people that make the video should slow down, especially by the street signs.
But good, nevertheless.
Thanks
Looks like a normal day in Detroit.
lol
It looks so bad and deserted. Nothing is there.
