Thank you, I've been struggling with my addiction with marijuana, I have a tough time sleeping and the withdrawals are super bad once I lay down to sleep and I feel like I feel the dark presence come as soon as it knows I lay down. I relapsed and I knew it was wrong but it felt like the weight of my addiction was all I could see and feel around me and I escaped by sinning. I felt remorse and I still feel guilty for it but this video gave me hope. I love you and everyone that sees this, remember that Jesus loves you and cares for you as well Amen.

I needed this. I almost gave up because I didn't became a "good person" overnight so I thought my repentance was totally fake (or just a feeling). Thank you for encouraging me to go on trying my best as a sinner. Have a blessed Christmas dear father! (You looks having so much peace after your travel to Romania :) )

Hello, Father. It’s a great point that Christ came into the world to save sinners. The Orthodox Church is a hospital. Please pray for my family and me; my name is Demitrios. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us sinners. For whom I am the worse of sinners. ❤☦️❤️

Thank you Father for your comforting and strong words. In Danish 'repent' is translated to 'around turn'. At sixty-two I still find the need to 'turn around' every day. When I get lazy in this practice I become despondent and discouraged and then I 'turn around' again. I certainly don't have the patience Jesus must have, for I become irritated with my self when I am lazy.
Have a lovely day you all. ❤

Thank you, Father. It is a blessing by God's timing that I see this video today. It was very needed for me in my current struggles in dealing with my stumbles. I began to listen to the Devil telling me I will never make it to Heaven because of my failings. God bless you, Father. ☦️

    Greetings from Orthodox Greece!
    Metania is the word! Amen
Also my spiritual father always said that Christ came for the "apololos" that means the one that is lost (the "apololos provaton" that is in the gospel and means the lost sheep)
    Evlogite (pray for us)!

    Thank you father
We were talking in our church about the 10 virgins and the parable of the talents and my heart could barely receive the message of the judgment of Christ .. overwhelmed by my own shortcomings and failures , I can barely grasp that Christ will judge me according to my deeds. For now I pray for Christ to help me to return to my first love and lead me to an inner repentance 🙏✝️🥰

Just the title by itself. If you guys don't have a lot of time to study this video, just take that title to heart. And consider this. You don't have to grit your teeth and bear down to try and stop sinning, small efforts are all it takes. Then what sins get through, confess them and then offer up your sufferings in reparation for other sinners. Amen and God love you. Good morning.

A deeply encouraging message. Thank you Fr Seraphim, I pray with faith to this infinite loving God, that He give you releif from all your physical pains and even greater measures of His communion.
Nothing in the world is worth keeping, Christ is worth turning 180° to from every other thing.
The night the call of Christ compelled me to repent, there was a distinct moment where the Holy Spirit filled my mind with verses of Christ, the thoughts that impacted me the most was the story in the old testament when the arc of the covenant was being transported on a ox wagon, and got trapped in the mud, and the Arc started to slide towards the mud, and Uza reached out to grab the Arc to keep it from falling in the mud, and God struck him dead instantly in wrath.
Then He filled me with the images of the upper room of the last passover. Where it says that "the disciple that Christ loved was leaning on Jesus"......
The thought that the same God who judged Uza for daring to touch an icon of the Presence of God, is letting a man lean on Jesus's chest, physically touching directly the Infinite Supreme King of the Universe...
The depth of this compassion and love, then the thought that this same eternal God who created all by simply Speaking, would humble Himself and endure the blasphemy the same night, and sweat drops of blood in fear of the wrath of the Father....and He who is all knowing, saw every single one of my sins, and still said Not My will but thine be done, and continued to the Cross . This love is powerful, I was transformed, and given faith to believe it is real.
...Turn 180degrees to the cross. Look, and behold such wrath we deserve, behold such love ..
And all your lusts of the world will fade away into nothingness as you are swallowed by the excellency of Christ...
It spawns full confessing that our sins and idols as worthless.
....and the life of repentance is never stop looking....brothers never stop looking at our Christ suffering, that images will cause us such shame for even entertaining a thought of temptation. "If I do this sin, it is one more measure of wrath upon the Son of God".
Look to Christ, and pray "command me to walk " as St Peter said to Christ walking on water. Peter didn't just jump out and start walking, he would have fallen immediately. He humbly asked Christ first, knowing the only way to walk forward is if Christ, who is all powerful, commands with authority.
The reason we fall into despondency or worldly things and temptations, is when we stop looking at Christ, and look down and around at our surroundings. We see the wind and waves of the world and our powerless nature collapses. Just like St Peter looked around and began to sink. But remember beloved, all he had to do was call out to Christ to save him, and Christ immediately rescued him. So don't give in , dont look away, the waves of temptation will not drown us if we look to Christ.
I'm not worthy to say any such words, I know this truth yet still turn away and sin. but where else can I Go, Christ has the words of eternal life. Let us keep the faith, He is faithful, He loves us, even when we sin 7 times a day. The beauty of the command of Christ to forgive our brothers 7 times a day, is that Christ's ultimate command us to be like Him, which means He himself forgives us 7 times and even 70x7 times a day.
He who began a good work in you will complete it. Blessed are they who's hope is in the Lord. Christ has conquered sin and death, He that is in you is greater than all the powers of hell. Love Him, Trust Him, and share the love with others always encouraging eachothers faith
Grace and love and faith immeasurably abound to all of us and to the world, To God be the glory forever Amen

    • @mullmonastery
      @mullmonastery  3 дні тому +4

Craciun binecuvantat!
