biddy fox Eh. Not Daft Punk. Homework and Discovery weren’t really compressed to hell. Discovery was actually well mastered considering that it was released when the loudness wars were just starting. Human After All, however, is really compressed. I think Technologic is the least compressed song on that album due to how simple of a song it was. Thankfully, RAM was actually mastered pretty well for a modern release because they didn’t want it to sound loud, they wanted it to sound good.
i mean like compression as in the artistic effect not it's relatively more subtle use in mastering. like you ever hear a song where the bass drum kind of makes everything else quieter for a second to make a sort of "pumping" sound? that sort of compression is what i'm talking about and all over french house including daft punk

@@cloudcraft7153 its the by far most blatant rip off from any song I know by Daft Punk. Every other sample they changed quite strongly or used fairly sparingly. This? is fucking ridiculous. And if you go to the comments of release the beast, there is pretty much unanimous disappointment in Daft Punk over this. So talk to a wall if youd like but this is nasty work from them.
