An enormous part of this bands success, is how “proud” the fan base is. They let us watch them grow up doing this. We were there. What a journey! 🤘🕊❤️🤘✨
One reactor(a pro bass player) commented "Why would she play tike that?" referencing her over-the-top fret playing. I said, She is 10 years old.....and because she CAN!!
Ale could play normally, she was just flexing. ❤✌🤘⚡🔥
😄 I love it!!
@@MrsRealistic Around this time Ale had already played Hysteria on her teachers 6-string so yes, just showing off a little. This concert was used to show the level of playing Ale and Pau were at since the normal age for admission for the Berklee summer program was 15. Only Dany was technically old enough but after seeing what Ale and Pau could do they were also allowed to enter the program. If you are interested there is a series of videos they did documenting their time at Berklee for the Ellen Show.
@@lonelywind3511 Thanks! 😊
When they finally met Muse when they opened at four shows them in Mexico, Muse told them they had watched the videos of them playing the covers. Imagine being DPA and learning that about nine or so years later.
That's pretty epic!
My favorite Muse song. Great Bassline. Amazing that such a young girl can just kill it.
The song that Pau is so emotional is the song "Breathe", during their 10 year anniversary concert at the Pepsi Center.
This entire concert will send you back to the 80s
Ale is playing that way because she's the frekin boss!
Thanks for the reaction!! This concert was an end of the school year assembly for their school. Ale' playing over the top of the neck of her bas was simply her small way of showing off. If you look in the background there is a guy in a red t-shirt. That is Ale's bass teacher Pablo. He taught her many things and this was a low key way for her to show her confidence in playing.
Outstanding suggestion Tim.
This was done to submit to Berklee to show her Bass skills as she was below the normal age limit for the Summer Program
They were told by Berklee School Music that only Dany could attend since she met the minimum age of 15. So they did this concert for Pau and Ale's audition tape...Ale was showing off at the beginning of Hysteria. Berklee saw this and said, "How soon can you 3 be here?"
It's more like we're extended family than a fan base - I've been in TWA since 2016 and here I am in my mid 70's being a fanboy. We all share this personal sense of pride in our girls/ladies. Haven't done this since the 60's with The Beatles.
dany 15, pau 13, ale 10!
This show had a bunch of originals as well, their schoolmates knew every word.
Rockstars from the start! Ale just destroyed the bass on this one!
Great! Una promesa que se cumplió! The Warning! Gracias por seguir reaccionando
Ale did this bass line when she was 16 on a YT video for 3.3 million views. Then Muse posted it on their official FB page for another 1.3 million.
This was for their school... you will sometimes see them dressed in the red and white school shirt like the girls in the audience are.
For most of the video Ale' plays the frets regularly... I think she just did the over the stock move at the beginning "because she could". It doesn't make it easier for her but she got to show a little bit extra this way. The girl has talent.
Yeah, Ale is just showing off here and I love it. If you need some sort of confirmation, she plays the same bass line for most of the song and you can see she only plays over the rop of the fret board in the beginning. The rest is played normally. Ale is 3 years apart from Pau. Danny and Pau are 2 years apart. So you got the two youngest right but Danny was 15 here.
Ale playing Hysteria so young!... one of the most hard pieces writen for bass. She is a master.
By the way Ale ‘ plays some of the cleanest bass lines in rock ..they are almost perfection .There are hundreds and hundreds of great bassists but she ranks up there with some really great bass players .
Dany had that "Front Woman" energy and vibe from the start. Ale was rock solid on the bass here and did that overhand run just because she could. Pau is always in the pocket, I think she was born there. Great reaction once again.
I use this one to show Ale's playing one of the most difficult bass lines in rock at an age 10 where the bass is bigger then she is. 2 years apart.
Pau crying was the song Breathe at the Pepsi center 2023 show and very subtly with the song Marterio at the Teatro metropolitan CDMX 2022 show.
Sweet! Thank you! 😁
@@MrsRealistic The outro of the Teatro metropolitan CDMX 2022 show has a beautiful moment with Ale comforting Pau.
@@GrayWolf68 I look forward to seeing that! Thank you again!
@@MrsRealistic A little background for the emotional moment is that the Teatro metropolitan CDMX 2022 show was their first major headliner. And they knocked it out of the park.
The song was Breathe, Pau is at the piano and everyone is singing along with her. She said she'd never play this song live as it was too emotional for her - she proves herself right! Beautiful all the same - just wish there was a professional recording of that night, as it was superb and also included an orchestral/string section who accompanied them for a number of songs.
Thank you!!
There is almost certainly a pro-shot recording of this concert. But just like the Teatro Metropolitan show they will want to edit it properly and eventually post and/or publish it bit by bit.
@@Hans_Reese I sincerely hope so! Andy
Alejandra the Master asombrosa.
pau cried on Martirio and Breathe at Pepsi Center!
Thank you Timothy 🤘..The Warning crush every performance no matter the time frame .
Aloha MRS, as others have said, Ale was showing off...if you are familiar with this song, this bass line is iconic, and if listen closely, she is playing the same riff regardless if she is playing over the top of the neck or under...it's all the same notes/riff. As for Pau, I invite you to watch Everlong(foo fighters) from this same school concert.
Ale used to love the spotlight all the time… then teenage shyness occurred… she’s gradually carving out a new persona that rocks even harder though 🎉
I'm with you Mrs. Realistic; can't comprehend the ability to play an instrument and sing well at the same time. Any musician who can do that is amazing to me. Thanx for the reaction.
You're very welcome! 😁👍
This is the video that made me discover Muse.
This is one of the 1-2 punch songs from this before classes concert that got me hooked on The Warning.
They are amazing! This performance was at their school. Dany singing and playing guitar: Yes impressive and she does it as LEAD guitar (as she is the only one) all at 15 years of age!
They were 10, 13 and 15 (it was 2015) they played 3 special songs one for each to show their skills to be able picked for a 6 weeks summer class in Berkleee
Hysteria for Ale
Everlong for Pau
Crazy Train for Dany
Thanks Mrs. R... she is not playing like that because her hands are to small...even at this age of 10-11 she is already masterful on bass..(prodigy if you will) and is now, here, just showing off on this very intensive bass song from Muse......Love them...such unbelievable talent on display from 9 years ago, and yes, very cute but so so so so talented even at this age....sometimes we have to look pass the cuteness, hard to do, but witnessing skilled musicians even now. They are amazing. This is at their School in Liceo Monterrey attended by their school mates and parents...there are 10 songs from this concert setlist.....4 covers and 6 originals they have already written...should do the entire concert Mrs. R....worth it.
Oh that's so cool! I look at it through the lens of a mother, seeing small children doing something so amazing... so of course I say they're so cute 😄 But as I said, they're just children here, doing something that most kids can not even dream of!
@@MrsRealistic I knew what you meant, as a parent, you are quite correct. Hard to put that aside when you are witnessing this rare amount of talent, and all in one family no less , I surely understand, and did not mean that in a bad way at all. Love your reactions and your channel.
Ale was already playing the Bass for about 4 years at this point. She was just showing off with the overhand. This school concert they put on was 10 songs. They opened with 4 covers, then 6 originals. They was writing their own material way back then, and it is all from their first EP "Escape the Mind". The other covers are worth watching as well, and most everyone knows them. Ozzy, and the Foo Fighters (my fave) are amongst them. "Liceo" is the name associated on them for a YT search.
Cool thank you!
Watch "Escape the mind" from this show..Unreal...Pau is an amazing song writer at age 13.
Ale was literally born playing music . Danny and Pau or POW like som anglos call her started playing music when they were toddlers while Ale was one year old .
This concert (@Liceo) was at their school. They opened with 4 covers which they played as their audition for Berklee College of Music, followed by the songs from their Escape the Mind EP and two from their first album XXI Century Blood . At this concert you can see their parents and (I have read) Ale's bass teacher, who was also their songwriting coach, working backstage (and even on stage at the beginning). The other covers were Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train, Foo Fighters' Everlong and Guns n' Roses Sweet Child of Mine.
Ale was putting on a clinic. She reaches the strings just fine throughout the rest of the song LOL.
Ale is showing off. Dany loves it.
The crowd in front are their classmates in school uniforms.
From The Same Show.

PUH PAU !!!
Ah, ok! Thank you! 😁
Ale has said in interviews when she started playing bass, one of her parents had to carry it because it was too heavy (and probably as big as Ale). You can see the start of Pau's "beat them like they owe you money" technique on the drums😄
10, 13 and 15 yrs. old and those are their classmates, music performance at school
It's either Black Holes or The End when Pau tears up thinking the first (BH) Had to edit it could also be Breathe from Teatro but it is a cell phone vid
Pops Villarreal doesn't have time to cry at the shows, he's on scene co-managing, and especially in those days, he was their only manager and had to make sure everything was working the way it should. In this show, if you check out the first number, Crazy Train cover, Pops had to rush over and fix a microphone stand because some dude that was trying to fix it didn't know what the heck he was doing.
Yeah, I can imagine if you're preoccupied with running everything, that's a bit different.
Dany is always so emotional. I wonder what these schoolmates think of The Warning now...how cool!
I bet they're all like, "We went to school with them!!"
Always great to see TW as kids, thanks for doing this vid. Check out Kids Rock For Kids' recent release of this song to see some more talented kids just rocking out.
They are incredibly talented, and amazingly adorable in this video. It is a really intense, and constant baseline, and Ale just kills it. From what I have seen of their parents, they are really sweet and humble people, who are just happy to see their daughters get to follow their dreams.
Pau and Dany still comment on Ale playing over and under, when she was little, pretty much just having fun. There is a version of them “practicing” this when Ale was 8, she looks bored half the time.
I'm unfamiliar with Muse, but that's some great playing, especially Ale.
Honestly the warning at this age sounded better than muse.
You should check out Muse... they're very good!
Inception and The Good Lord poured favor over them it sure seems. 10 years later and my goodness yall.
crazy ! just,,,
I'm not sure if they had started using a click track yet, but their timing is impeccable, even at this age. That bass line is no easy task, and then to keep it up throughout the whole song and not lose your timing is tough enough for an adult, never mind a 10 y.o. like Ale. She was actually showing off a bit in the beginning, with her over and under fingering technique... because she could!🤣 I didn't actually see the videos of this concert until 2017 or so when I started actively following the band, and I was blown away at how well they played during this whole performance!😍🎵🎶 🤘😎🤘
You know when you start a band and your 10 year old kid sister fills in on bass and you play Hysteria... no you don't because THAT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN... and then she's flexing with the overhand playing... unsane 😁
Ale played over the top because she basically was showing off, not because of the size of the bass.
I love that! 😄👍
Berklee admission panel (hearing what Ale wanted to submit for review): "Are you sure honey, that’s a very difficult bass line?"
Ale: "Hold my juice box, bitches!"
🤣🙌
The Warning desde pequeñas mostraron su gran talento en la música y sobre todo en el rock Hysteria un buen ejemplo
They're amazing!
If you watch this again, check out the guy in the red shirt at the side of the stage and his reaction. He's on Ale's side. When Ale starts that crazy ass bass line
FYI: Ale has only been playing bass 3 years at this time, while Dany and Pau have been playing their instruments about 7 years. Dany is 15 in this concert. They have only been playing together about 3 years at this time. This concert was at their school a couple of months following the release of their EP "Escape the Mind" and a few weeks prior to them attending the Berklee College of Music summer session in Boston. Ale and Pau were too young to attend, so they had spend an extra orientation week prior to the start of the summer session to determine where they were musically. The summer session is for those 15 and older.
Ale could play this bass line at age 8, only after 1 year of taking bass lessons.
Here is a link to them practicing the song after only 1 year of playing together:
ua-cam.com/video/P-IuRNVMsx0/v-deo.htmlsi=VvVuQkkMPO-nV9u-
Awesome band listen dust to dust but in live metropolitan
❤❤❤
That bass is only 3/4 size, so it is not too big for her, she was talking about full size basses were too big. Ale here is switching playing under and over the neck, just to show off, to make this bass part, that's already considered extremely difficult, even more difficult to play, at 10 years old. 🤯
They're seriously on a whole different level!
#HANGoverGANG4EVER #REALISTICHOG
Ale was literally born playing music . Danny and Pau or POW like som anglos call her started playing music when they were toddlers while Ale was one year old . Their father is to blame for having this world treasure called the warning . Mr Villarreal thanks
Babies? Not Ale
Ale is a Rockstar!!
Be like Ale ⚡⚡⚡

I still call 20-somethings "wee babbies" 😄
@@MrsRealistic oh, I was talking about 10 year old Ale : Pure Rockstar 🤟😜

You got that right Margaret! Nice to see you again!

So these three sweet people have idolized Muse since the beginning. Still do. One of the greatest videos you will ever watch is when Rudy their manager told them they would be opening for Muse. You don't have to react to it but for sure watch it. Just search The Warning Never Stop Dreaming. Should be the #1 result. Let me know if you cried like I did.
How amazing! 🙌
@@MrsRealistic Did you watch?
@spidernose no not yet... we've been doing family stuff 😊
😘
I’m sure it’s been mentioned but I’ll add it again for the sake of “engagement”😊. They did (and recorded) this show as a video resume for Berklee College of Music to show their levels. This was Ales showcase song and she was just straight-up showing off😂
I love that she did that!
This is at The Warning school . . .
👋👋👋🤘🤘
Something definitely switches on for sure...after maybe 4 years of trying it just turned on one day and never went away again...I have often thought about it over the years...Even more trippy is every so often, maybe 10 times in my life, not only could i sing and play literally everything I tried, somehow I knew the chords and lyrics to songs i'd never even tried...I'm no pro by anyone's definition, just a campfire wanna be, I know enough to know your're right, except ( speaking conspiratorially for a sec) I think we all have these "special" abilities that are somehow "out of reach" for most of us...I mean think about many song writers tell you that they dont know where it comes from...like magic songs appear...
It's truly a wonderful talent... one I missed out on 😭
Actually it is easy to play chords on the guitar and sing. Things get complicated when you play riffs that do not follow the melody that you are singing. And even more when you are playing a solo and singing. Dany is a true multi tasker as she plays riffs, chords and solos while singing. Like Knopfler or Clapton.
So is Ale because the bass doesn't follow the melody. On top of that she has to tie up with the drums. I could never sing while playing bass except for ooohs and aaahs as background vocals.
However, the mother of multi tasking is a singing drummer. Not only Pau has to compartmentalize her brain to play drums but also to remember lyrics of a song and sing melody that may not be in synch with the rhythm she is generating. Plus she has to control her breath accurately and maintain an erect posture in the upper body to ensure that her voice does not waver while singing and drumming.
⚡️⚡️⚡️🤘🤘
I've been playing guitar longer than they've been alive and I absolutely cannot sing and play at the same time. And little Ale is just flexing her skills there. That bass line is difficult enough to play.. it's much more difficult to play it well and in time for the whole song.. and she has it down so smoothly that she can flex and switch to over the top fretting.
Wow! Really? Yeah, I can't wrap my mind around how it's done. I can sing... but there's no way I could add playing an instrument to the mix 😆
🐣🐤🐥
In my experience, if I have a UA-cam video paused in the background for a while then it will buffer shortly after I start to play it.
@@Undeference hmm... maybe that's it. Thank you!
You should react to Crazy Train(Ozzy O) and Everlong (Foo Fighters) from the same show. Pau is pure badass energy with both.
@@SteveMHN ohhh...I love those songs!
Ale was 10 Pau 13 Dany 15 I think. I might of forgotten
10, 13, 15
As a bassist with fifty years of experience I’m perplexed by anyone that would think that going over the top of neck of the bass would make easier playing for someone. 😂 For the love of anything you find sacred she is showing off her prowess on the instrument. When doing this there is more stress on the wrist and requires more finger strength due to not being able to properly counter support you fingers by pressing the thumb into the back of the neck. That’s not even taking into consideration the fact your dominant fingers are not leading into the riff in the inverted position. For someone her age it is quite impressive, as if the fact her straight up playing wasn’t impressive enough, she’s been awesome from early on. The down side to her size early on was the weight of the instrument making it hard to counter balance the body to align the neck at a proper angle due to her height and arm length. It would mean she would have to try to play while pushing down on the neck while fretting.
Well you've got that experience under your belt...I have ZERO clue about playing the bass, or guitar 😆 They're a force to be reckoned with!
@@MrsRealistic I didn’t mean to sound judgmental, I like your show. I’ve heard quite a few reactors and hundreds of commenters make the same guess about Ale’s technique on this song. Carry on, I’m just a grumpy old musician. You should consider yourself lucky you didn’t have to be around me when some dumbass viewer poll recently declared Taylor Swift the 8th best guitarist in the last twenty years.
@jamessummerlin9516 I would have been on your side on that one. 😄 I can't stand Taylor Swift! She's just another cog in the machine. And no offense taken! 😊👍
Just wondered if david michael frank - heart attack cover is coming up ❤
I don't remember if I added it or not 🫣🤪😂 But I'll check it out!
The performance of “Breathe” at Pepsi Center in Mexico City has Pau very emotional. ua-cam.com/video/h1KJkAZbcOM/v-deo.html If you’re going to do “Enter Sandman” the OMV you should follow up with the “Teatro Metropolitan” CDMX version. You’ll be amazed🤟TWA
