Amanda and other Japanese buy the restaurant of Kimura at a low price to renovate it into the kung-fu house of Gangfu Yamamoto, preparing for a future challenge to Bruce for revenge. They humiliate Kimura and call him a traitor. Jessie helps Kimura to find a basement at a high price; Kimura knows it but in order to build the kung fu house for his master, he signs the contract.
Diya Xu brings to Bruce news about Ruhai Shao and a letter from Xiaoman. In the letter, Xiaoman says she misses Bruce and hopes that Bruce can come back to marry her so as to engage in the show business instead of martial art. Reading the letter, Bruce feels sad.
Arroyo wants Bruce to meet her father and talk enthusiastically about her plans for the future. Bruce understands that she actually has the same attitude as Xiaoman, and neither of them accepts his kung-fu, that their relationship is a mistake. The two break up after the unhappy conversation.
An American girl Linda is reading early in the morning but is soon attracted by a beautiful scene in distance. In front of the vast sea, an Asian man is doing a mysterious dance with a special rhythm being slow sometimes and swift in the next moment. Linda is impressed and to her surprise, she knows this “dancer”: his name is Bruce Lee and he used to teach them a philosophy course. The two have a conversation and Linda tells Bruce that she’s also been admitted by Washington State University.
