That was quite an effort with all those decorations. I wish you had of explained to us what the various decorations meant such as the colouring of red and gold predominantly, coins, the upside down signs, kittens instead of tigers etc. There was so much that I would have liked to have understood. I don't think I could bear to watch the video of the feast, that really would be unfair to all of us wishing we were there! That was fun! I always have a Red Lantern to light up for Lunar New Year.....it is a nice Holiday, to look forward to, after Christmas. I live in Southern California, Vietnam People celebrate also. I think U.S. should celebrate more. I was very lucky to have a Chinese Egg Roll made from South China Sea Grass....it was Special.

It's beautiful. I would have loved a 5 second intro to the meaning of each item as you decorated. Why are some of the items upside down?
In chinese, upside down is "倒了daole" sounds like "到了", which mean arriving . If you put the “福fu” sign upside down, means the blessing is arriving to you. Next year, I will explain explain more in detail. Sorry for that.

That was quite an effort with all those decorations. I wish you had of explained to us what the various decorations meant such as the colouring of red and gold predominantly, coins, the upside down signs, kittens instead of tigers etc. There was so much that I would have liked to have understood. I don't think I could bear to watch the video of the feast, that really would be unfair to all of us wishing we were there!
