Kaioken Goku is one of my favorite things ever. And it's odd to me how often they just don't want to replicate that extreme scarlet color. His clothing has a noticeably different palette, but that's about it... Kaioken is so intense, but I never see it with most of the figures... Oh what I would do for a Manga Dimensions Kaioken Goku...

I wanted these particularly because the resin statue of this scene is just rare and expensive and I have always wanted to re-create this scene in statue form or with something like Figuarts, but I’m not sure if I’m entirely sold on these guys just yet. It’s definitely a bummer this scene didn’t get the quality of figure it deserves. Love this scene.
@@TMIScott not the actual techniques, but Goku is in his Kaioken x3 right before he preps the Kamehameha and Vegeta is posed when talking shit to the Z Fighters. It’s a pricey set because it’s hella popular (one of the best Kuji) and 2 years old. THAT'S WHAT I KEEP TELLING YOU! 😆😆 Prize figures 5-10 years ago (for the most part) had great paint design or at least shading. They don't have any now that's worth noting when it comes to shading.
Agreed almost in everything my friend, for me i agreed the shading and yes they size got smaller in the last years also i don't know why, in fact i have that Goku SSJ and Full Power Freeza and they are a little bigger, the only thing i disagree with you is the final overall Goku i give 3/5 and Vegeta 3.5/5! We all have diferent opinions and we must respect that!
I think you’re to harsh( hard). I understand 30$ can be a considerably amount and the figure are far to be perfect but In my opinion for 30$ canadian, they’re pretty good sure not close to those at 50-60$. When i was young ( and im not that old) it was rare to find action figures (DB) for 30$ if you was lucky and you found one, they were really cheap ( hollow) the face looked deformed, and almost like a lego 😂😂 i think that for the average collector they’re just perfect. I understand you see it with your eyes of a seasoned collector but most of us wont go to the point you’re going… but your videos helped alot thank you
Thanks for the comment! I understand for a casual collector - these could be cool. However for the same or similar price - you could find much better. I think coming from a seasoned collector, you want the truth and perspective from someone who's been collecting for 6 years. Especially when just a few years ago, $20-$25 figures in this same series as well had much more detail and size. I hope that helps add some color to my opinion.

I suggest hopping on eBay and searching the figure series you’ve seen on my channel that you like. Then sort it from lowest price and see what comes up. Make sure the sellers have good ratings

Heck yes. 100% agree with the paint and shading. These are pathetic compared to older prize figures.
Yeah hindsight is showing how good we had it outside of Kujis just a few years ago. Sucks :(

DXF seems to sometimes add shading randomly. Same with History Box.
