Father Alar, Thank you sincerely for all of your talks about the Catholic faith. My own failure in learning my Catholic faith has caused me to fail multiple times when I am asked questions by protestants and non-believers. I pray for you and I pray that I can remember your talks when I am confronted with questions so I can thoroughly explain our beautiful Catholic faith.
This talk is SO fascinating! I am learning every time I listen to your talks. Thank you father Chris. Your love for Mother Church is very palpable. Thank you and all our Marian priests! God bless you all.
I'm in the Blue Water Vicariate of the Archdiocese of Detroit, near Fr. Chris Alar's old stomping grounds. I'm also near the border with the Diocese of Saginaw, which puts out the Little Book Series of 6 minute meditations for the Seasons of the Liturgical Year. The parishes in my area make these Little Books freely available in each Season. Some years ago the Little Blue Book for Advent offered a mini Lectio Divina on the Genealogy in the Gospel of Matthew. It inspired me to read all of the Scriptures that taught about each of Jesus'direct ancestors. Needless to say, it derailed me from completing the Little Blue Book that year, but that was ok, because the Scripture path was incredibly enriching and amazing. I hope that this lesson inspires others to take that path. As Fr. Chris always says, "There's so much to cover! I hope I can fit it into this talk!" I will certainly say this particular talk is an excellent jumping off point for reading the Scriptures to learn more about these women. More than that, I think Father covered them all very well. As I'm watching this on the First Sunday of Advent, it's put me on the path of preparing to welcome our Lord. Thank you! As always, 3 Hail Marys for Father Chris Alar, and all the MIC Fathers, Brothers, and Marian Helpers. I have it on good authority that praying a Hail Mary for someone's intentions makes their prayers for others more efficacious, so I'm going to keep up the habit 🌹🌹🌹🙏🏻✝️💗

I especially enjoyed the section on Jaal, and Judith and their positions as the forerunners of Mother Mary. They only began to strike fear in the mind of Satan, while the true terror came with our Blessed Mother’s arrival . You thoroughly restated the Immaculate Conception of Mary, because Jesus could not coexist with even a bit of venial sin. Our Almighty Father cleverly orchestrated the plan and, in my opinion, elevated women by placing them in unlikely positions as witnesses, patrons, and women whose loyalty to Jesus was never in doubt. Thank you for all your thorough preparation, and affectionate references to Father Seraphim’s contributions to your many talks. Through you Father Chris, we are also able to catch a glimpse of his genius. You spoke on a vast range of topics on Saturday and Sunday, and only you could make it look easy. A wonderful Old Testament & Salvation History lecture. I have to take notes- this literally summed it all in a nice package for me to easily recall. A lot of the Old Testament reading is well….salacious undertones that takes one aback. Because of this, I really had a difficult time understanding it, thank you Fr Alar. Once again, you tackle everything we want to ask but never do, too embarrassed & never enough time. Thank you so much for acknowledging who makes up most of the Marian Ministry! ❤ I had to listen to that part 3x! It’s so good to hear. I’d like to think that it’s because women know where the real love & source of power comes from: Jesus. It’s women who were persecuted since the beginning of human history. Jesus loves the persecuted!
I really love your talks Fr. Chris, i was in Stockbridge, MA last week of Sept but you were out, hope to see next time I visit the US. Praying always for the Marians
How amazing was your talk about the women in the Bible Fr Chris. Than k you so much for explaining each and everyone of them! Again, like before I learned a lot about them. Fr. Chris, my deepest gratitude for today’s wonderful talk about Women of the Bible. I’m so happy of the presentation that makes me remember the names of some women I studied so closely before whose courageous spirit saves lives like Esther, Judith, the loyalty of Ruth, Elizabeth and above all the Blessed Virgin Mary’s humility and resignation to God’s holy will. Fr. Chris, you give us so much joy in knowing their mission in life and our humble participation in this mission as children of God. What a beautiful day to learn more stories of women in the Bible! Thank you so much Fr Chris for a wonderful talk on the Ancestors this is why your teachings are doing beautiful your doing a great job today because the salvation of the bible wants us to read all scriptures to offer Masses so far during the Holy Spirit to understand your faith the Blessed VIrgin Mary as the Marian Apparitions why is it important in the seminary with celebrating the sacrifice as possible to prompting to the theology before many people go to church every Sunday to participate the Eucharist of the priesthood as the Precepts of the Church and also the Anointing of the Sick wants healing to practice among the Chaplet and Rosary and many lessons to discover to prayer of First Fridays and First Saturdays and Ukraine and Russia of World Peace. Thank you Brother Mark for assisting Fr Chris as always. I'm also still praying for the Marian Helpers and especially good health and your parents and Dad and Mom and Pam also Sandy at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge MA. God bless all Marians as possible!
Thank you for this topic. Someday could you talk about the role of women in the church in the modern world, especially how the hierarchy of the church sees the role of religious congregations of women.
I watched twice 😍 seven sons mother is my hero I always wonder about her name I need to read again I didn’t cached her name before thank you 😊 you’re our hero in time like this, keep teaching & leading us, praying for you all daily 🙏
I absolutely loved this talk. Thank you Father Chris and all those helpers behind the scenes that make these talks possible. I learn so much from these talks. Wish I lived closer so I could come there in person every week. God has truly Blessed my life by bringing you all into it. Keep up the good work.
I remember a point made by Dr Alice Von Hildebrand re God’s creation of man and woman. People try to make a hierarchy out of “Adam created first Eve created second” and out of Adam’s side ( but what about Jesus” pierced side?) but Dr Hildebrand said Eve was created last to perfect what was created first, as often one might note of an artistic creation, the final touches are the perfecting touches. This is not to diminish the equal dignity of Adam and Eve but to show that our human perception of a so called hierarchy is flawed. We don’t know exactly the why of God’s order of creation but we can trust if He ordered “equal dignity” that is what it is. It is hard not to absorb cultural rivalries and jealousy that exist between men and women, not to mention how it feeds into gender confusions. Amen Fr Chris, you always give such a timely talk 🙏
Prayer request: my newborn granddaughter Lana Lee has contracted bacterial meningitis and is in great danger of death. Please pray for her full recovery. Thank you in Christ.

Okay.... This was my favorite one so far. Wow. You are by far one of the most talented teachers in our time!! Listening to how you spell all of this out, is brilliant. A teacher by nature! It flowed flawlessly. All these holy women, pray for us!
that's what i always say, God could have chosen a better class of people for His story of salvation. but He didn't. and because of that, it gives the rest of us a sense of hope. had Jesus come from a line of perfect, holy people, what chance would the rest of us have?
There is a woman called Jael in Judges 5:24, “Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.” King James Bible.
Do you have a Marian community here in England [or in one of our neighbours, Scotland or Ireland]? If so could you give me their contact details and perhaps you could encourage them to try to popularise the Five First Saturdays Devotions here.
Ty🙏 Father Chris for this great message about Women in the Bible.❤ God certainly created us in his image each with special gifts. I feel so Blessed to be a Woman of God. Peace☮️ and with your Spirit.🕊 PS: It took me awhile to listen to this talk but well worth it. Amén 🙏
To be clear, Confession is judgment (1:17:22) forgiveness requires confession (species/number/and state), including sins of omission, and the grace of genuine contrition, repentance, commitment to avoid the occasion of sin and reparation. The miraculous grace is forgiveness yet the Sacrament requires judgment: confession, contrition, commitment, repentance and reparation ❤️🙏🏼
I am still watching this - it’s amazing to hear that - Jesus came from the line of sinners that’s why there’s a need for Immaculate Conception of Mary!

Thank you and God bless you

I remember a point made by Dr Alice Von Hildebrand re God’s creation of man and woman. People try to
make a hierarchy out of “Adam created first Eve created second” and out of Adam’s side ( but what about Jesus” pierced side?) but Dr Hildebrand said Eve was created last to perfect what was created first, as often one might note of an artistic creation, the final touches are the perfecting touches.

Father Chris, thank you for all your inspiring words and research, which opens our hearts and minds to God! Your teaching makes me know my Catholic Faith better so that I can also teach to those that have no clue of our theology. Even you homilies bring us closer to the Lord and makes a great impact on our daily lives. God bless you always so that you can continue teaching and praying for love and peace in the world that's so much needed. WOMEN. OF THE BIBLE ROCK.
Okay.... This was my favorite one so far. Wow. You are by far one of the most talented teachers in our time!! Listening to how you spell all of this out, is brilliant. A teacher by nature! It flowed flawlessly. All these holy women, pray for us!
Thank you Elizabeth so much for taking the time to watch with us and God bless you!
that's what i always say, God could have chosen a better class of people for His story of salvation. but He didn't. and because of that, it gives the rest of us a sense of hope. had Jesus come from a line of perfect, holy people, what chance would the rest of us have?
Amen.
I love your talks Father Chris. Thank you.
Yes, Marci, they are all wonderful! Fr Chris’ talks help us understand our faith so we can love our faith. God bless you, Marci!

Do you have a Marian community here in England [or in one of our neighbours, Scotland or Ireland]? If so could you give me their contact details and perhaps you could encourage them to try to popularise the Five First Saturdays Devotions here.

Thank you, Father Cris. Amazing talk about the Women on our Lord Jesus's ancestry. God bless you more.
To be clear, Confession is judgment (1:17:22) forgiveness requires confession (species/number/and state), including sins of omission, and the grace of genuine contrition, repentance, commitment to avoid the occasion of sin and reparation. The miraculous grace is forgiveness yet the Sacrament requires judgment: confession, contrition, commitment, repentance and reparation
❤️🙏🏼
I am still watching this - it’s amazing to hear that - Jesus came from the line of sinners that’s why there’s a need for Immaculate Conception of Mary!
God Bless you father
Love this
