  • This video is a rated match I had with the recently buffed LV1 Jagd Doga QA on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 650 cost support with strong stun build-up, extremely high burst damage and rather good bulk. Its weaknesses lay in having long overheat times and being quite large. I have always like the Quess Jagd Doga and so I was very happy to see it get buffed. I have mixed feelings about the buff and feel like they could have gone further, but I feel like it should make it way more viable. This match itself went really amazing as well despite me dying pretty early into my first life. I hope that you enjoy watching!
The QA Jagd Doga can choose between its own beam gatling gun or the Geara Doga commander BMG for its primary weapon, but I think that the gatling gun is stronger. It has 300 power, 450 RPM, 7% heat, 18 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 350m range, 2250 DPS and 7% stagger value. This can stagger in two seconds on its own, but it is most reliable when used after locking on with your funnels. It also has high DPS.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2800 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and standard modifiers. This has high power but its hard to use it considering your size and lack of balancers.
Its first sub weapon is a missile launcher with 500 power, 6 ammo, 13 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 400m range and 25% stagger value. Considering type advantage and that it is ballistic, this will do insane damage. It is a great stun follow-up but it can also stagger on its own.
Its second sub weapon is a mega particle cannon shield with 1350x4 power, 100% heat, 22 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 450m range, 5.5 seconds focus and 25%x4 stagger value. Though it needs to focus and instantly overheats, this fires an insanely high damage piercing beam. This allows you to output absolutely absurd burst damage if you combo it into your other weapons.
Its third sub weapon is a set of side lock funnels with 300x6x2 power, 50%x2 heat, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 22 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 300m range and 8%x6x2 stagger value. These can't stagger on their own, but have nearly no downtime between shooting each part of the attack.
Its fourth sub weapon is a set of rear lock funnels with 400x6 power, 100% heat, 18 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 300m range and 20%x6 stagger value. These have really high damage on the initial burst and can also stagger on their own if enough hit. They also pair well with other forms of build stagger.
The QA Jagd Doga has 23000 HP, 30 ballistic/beam resistance with 10 melee resistance. Although the melee resistance is quite low, your ranged defences are all great and your HP is high. You also benefit from a 10% damage reduction buffer for shoulders and 15% for your shield and legs. All this combined makes you squishy in melee, but hard to take down through just shooting.
You also have 125 walking speed, 190 boosting speed, 65 thrust and 66 turning speed. This is just about average for a support at this cost range but you are far from the fastest support option available. It is still fine enough though. It has LV1 Forced Injectors.
Your skills are all fairly standard for a support other than two stand outs. LV1 Damage Control means you take 130% stun build up to stagger rather than the normal 100%. You are still vulnerable to instant staggers but this means that most suits will need one or two extra shots to stun you with stagger accumulation weapons. You also have LV2 Anti-Stealth, but this is of limited use for the current meta. Jesta Shezarr Type A isn't that good to begin with, but it is totally countered by this skill since it can't sneak up on you. It also helps you to see through the stealth of LV4 Nightseeker (V), as well as suits using smoke.
In conclusion, I feel that while the Jagd Doga (QA) is pretty solid, it isn't even close to being on the same level as the Silver Bullet Suppressor. I feel like when they buffed it, it could have gotten 130 walk speed, 200 boosting speed and 70 thrust starting at LV1, since they allow Suppressor to have 210 boosting speed. It has really great damage if you can fire the shield beam and combo into your other weapons, but its stagger output could be a lot better. I feel like they could have increased the beam gatling gun stagger power further, so that way it could more easily interrupt enemies chasing allies without having to wait as long to finish accumulating stagger. It also lacks balancers, which feels kind of off at this point. Though, it deserved these buffs back when it last got changed, not now. I don't know what they could do to buff it when Demeter is completely ravaging the cost now, no support is viable at 650 if the enemy team has multiple Demeters, not even Suppressor. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!

In a map where it’s just fish in a barrel shooting and you aren’t getting constantly rushed the suit can put out some heavy damage. However, I feel that the lack of balancer and your only instant stun overheating in a single shot and needs to be focused keeps this suit from being great. If I just wanted to do big damage with the shield particular cannon I feel like I’d rather play Methuss Kai. I tried playing this suit a lot after the buff and found success, but overall felt the suit was lacking. 650 could really use a new strong support.

Bit of an odd comparison, considering that:
      - Methuss Kai is a 600, not a 650, and it is entirely unusable at 650.
      - Methuss Kai's big hit requires focusing and either A) stopping to focus or B) transforming to focus, both with no accompanying instant stun resistance.
They are entirely distinct suits with basically no overlapping qualities lol
SBS being way too strong and raids+generals moving up to it's power level rather than it getting nerfed is a problem that the devs are basically guaranteed not to fix, so your desire for more strong 650 supports is probably justified. At the same time, I can't help but think that it's a bad thing for suits like HML to be left so far in the dust.

@@ghostofthecommentsection Methuss Kai lvl2 is what I’m referring to and you don’t bother charging the big shot. The rotation from its main gun to the cannon is already a shit ton of damage. Both suits have a heavy stagger and fit similar rolls of long range DPS with basically no close range capabilities to speak of. And both are available options at a cost with very few available support options. If you just discount level 2 suits completely I think that’s a very close minded way of thinking especially when overtune parts exist. There is nothing odd about comparing 2 suits that are the same role playable in the same cost.

I love the QA even in 700. It always seems to have a good, consistent source of damage; whether from your BMG, Beam Shield, Funnels or the missiles to follow up.
It's non-stop firing and you don't realize your damage just stacks up very quickly.

This is kind of an aside, but I feel at this point they need to rework the skill "shock dampeners" either that or add various levels of 'damage control" to certain suits. I had this thought seeing the Doven Wolf get stunned left right and center in round 2. I think that a part of what is feeling "off" in the last several months of suits is that the time to stun has gotten soooooo short, and if a support or big suit like Doven Wolf gets stunned at the wrong time; its over. (Doven Wolf needs a lot of other things too, has for a while...mostly Hit Points)

Maybe Doven could work like FAZZ. LV1 DC at 600, LV2 at 650, LV3 at 700, alongside having more HP, buffers, better damage and better heat rates.

@@avenger1_gbo260 I think that might help at 600, but I almost feel like damage control doesn't matter against Demeter and Varguil.

    Demeter food

Yep. I recorded this back when they buffed the QA, but now I wouldn't even dare to bring SB Suppressor or the buffed Delta Gundam. Demeter is too OP to consider taking a support, or even most generals.

I prefer using the Commander BMG, lacking a second instant stun even if it doesn't follow up your other instant feels crippling, you might need an instant to follow up a friendly's stun or you might be fighting an enemy with DC but no MA, etc.
