Drummer Martin Drew .. He played for OP during the 80s along with Neils Pederson ... I was fortunate enough to see them play here in London ..
dear martin...i miss you
Perfect! The best sound I have ever heard.
Great great tune I love the Ray Charles version to
Pure class
Fantastic
Yes, yes, Oscar lives on....Babala
How cool was the drummer?
no one beats OP
Don't compare Greg to Oscar! He is not trying to copy him but these are his interpretations of classical OP. Brilliant music from a brilliant trio. Just wish I lived in Russia!!
Très bon mais personne ne seran.à la hauteur d oscar!
Jaques Monnier Dear Jacques ! Oscar is our teacher.Every good student have to and must go on, I try to do it)
Ok but technic without mind doesn't work !!!@@gregfinejazz
Jacques Monnier Can you play piano?
Really nice.My only criticism (and only minor because I wish I could play as well as that!) is that OP was more dynamic and note quite so 'bangy'.
I would listen to him but no way is he OP.
A bit of a petty try. Nice thing to pay tribute to one of the best players but Fine's piano is, hmm, mediocre. Still appreciated though.
