Anyway, in regards to your comment, contrary to common knowledge, or even what Dawkins seems to know much about, origin of life research is thriving and we are putting together a more complete picture of how life could begin, essentially boiling down to very complicated systems chemistry with things like polypeptide chains I won't pretend to understand, but, self replication in said polypeptide chains is shockingly achievable. This sort of pre-life process is very simple, it seems that in conditions like those when life began these processes happen naturally. I don't know a lot about this, I mostly saw Dave Ferina (Professor Dave) debating James tour and talking to an origin of life researcher.
