i played a 1x ball of spiders in a deathrattle hunter for a while. gotta say it was pretty good in the lategame vs control decks when you happened to squeeze out some more value from your cards, especially in combination with feign death
I had a hunter arena run a little while back that ended at 5-3(personal best) and was mostly beast based, just efficient cards and an illidan because the game was nice to me. the thing that seemed to help me the most was a combination of the following - 3 webspinners, one jeweled scarab, 2 ball of spiders. i also had (i think) 2 houndmasters. many many ways to get more cards with my field.
I wonder if it increases your chance for value beasts. I got two tomb spiders from my ball of spider webspinners, then got a mounted raptor and another webspinner from the tomb spiders.
I've been running a battlecry beast hunter deck with modest success (8 wins in 13 games, mixed casual and ladder) that contains 1 ball of spiders. It can be very fun, but also very painful (that 3 chicken game...). I found running both made the deck inflexible, so I dropped one. It took a few tries to get the deck playable. Surprisingly, I don't run many spells because the battlecries add up so well when done right. ;) As with most tempo decks, it will suffer some variance issues, and can get clobbered by control. List: Hunter's Mark x 2, Spinner x 2, Owl x 1, Scarab x 2, Elekk x 2, Novice Engineer x 1, Animal Companion x 2, Powershot x 2, BGH x 1, Brann x 1, MCT x 1, Argus x 2, Houndmaster x 2, Gnomish Inventor x 1, Tomb Spider x 2, Explosive shot x 2, Wrangler x 1, Stampeding Kodo x 1, Ball of Spiders x 1, Krush x 1.
The best thing about this card for me is how it replenishes your hand and works well with beast synergy. Say both players are evenly matched going into turn 6. Both players have no minions on the board and 3 cards left. You play this, and suddenly you don't have to worry about running out of cards.
I wish you were like StrifeCro in your explanations. You're a great commentator and I wish that came through in your casting, For instance, in the first game you call the opponent's secret as "It's a.... snipe." Totally correct but I wish I knew how you arrived at that or why you did most of the moves that you didn't explain in the mid-game. Keep it up - short and sweet is best with rare long videos. :-)
I've always said that Controll hunter will never be a thing becasue of hunter's hero power is too aggressive, but now with Sir Finly Mrrgglton I think that might change. I tried a deck with Sir Finly and ball of spiders and som other dcontrolly cards, and it has potensial.

Haven't watched the video yet, but considering the Salt Index registers Kripp's reaction to this card being played against him in arena as a 8 out of 10, I'm guessing it's preeeeeetttyyy good.
The main problem with web spinners is the 6 Mana, it wouldnt be that good if you made it 4 mana and 2 webspinners because it isnt that good of a advantage but since people use hunter as a rush deck, by turn 6, You would have to already be winning and if you arent then you would most likely be playing only 3 1/1s on the board for a turn. Even if you get 3 King krush's, if you arent winning already all a king krush would so is delay (as long as your opponent has a taunt or 2) since you would spend you next turns just playing it. P.S. This is all mainly for constructed, in arena its quite different because you cant make a rush deck that often in arena.
Kripp or anyone, What about a Warlock and Cho deck, using very few spells, and the damage to non demons and a deck of demons to reduce the blow back? I guess even discard spells could be decent, i'm not sure there are enough great demons, but there are a few okay ones. (and i don't have enough cards unlocked to try this myself)

Am i the only oe who is thinking of putting arcane explosion in some slow mage decks now. Whirlwind was also used to handle early game in patron #RipPatron counters muster, murlocs and 2/1 agro.

The moonkin is a great beast to get if you have an explosive trap in your deck. It also could combo with Powershot and Kill Command well

Sylvanas is great, it can do a huge tempo swing on the game, and is great for starting to do a control warrior if you say that you have grommash

hey kripp can u possibly add a option taht skips all the talkin in the beginning like trump does when he goes arena. he has a button to skip the drafting part. maaybe you could add something like that to your videos. for the folks that just wants to watch the gameplay. just a suggestion.

I did this in this week's tavern brawl: Ball of Spiders + Feign Death + Feign Death = 9 beast draws when the spiders die, ha!
Am i the only oe who is thinking of putting arcane explosion in some slow mage decks now. Whirlwind was also used to handle early game in patron #RipPatron counters muster, murlocs and 2/1 agro.
Kripp, you should try another 30 legendary deck! With Finley and Reno it'll be so much better! Also, maybe you could find a place for Rafaam to fit in there lol
