    Quick question, how do I have my selection as transparent? Like my selection also has a white background in it.

    • @CodeParade
      @CodeParade  6 років тому +3082

      In the 'Home' tab, click the 'Select' drop-down and choose 'Transparent Selection'
      Also, to fix the bug where parts disappear when rotating, only make square selections (no rectangles).

      It's not programmed to check whether it's still in MS paint or not, while the input from the screen(which is BSOD) would be completely invalid, causing all kinds of problems inside of his brain...

      There’s actually a way to prevent that. In the video, his selections when he was rotating were essentially squares. If your selection is a square, it will appear perfect every time when rotating. Something I had picked up when I messed around with pixel art in mspaint.

    You can rotate by non 90 deg angles in Ms paint it's just a bit tedious. If you use the resize menu you can enter in any scale and sheer transform. Effectively, any rotation matrix you want can be done with the right choice of vertical and horizontal sheer.

    The last one is used in modern smartphones as antennas (fractal antennas, who would have guessed). It's used because it can resonate with different wavelength and doesn't requires several antennas. The wavelength in which an antenna resonates is multiple of the antenna length, such as the lenght ends up being: "λ/2^n" where n can be any integer bigger than 0. The closest to 1, the better, so fractal antennas has multiple lengths so you can use it for multiple frequencies

      @FilmscoreMetaler 5 років тому +8

      Yep, this is normal in MS paint for some reason. The next time you copypaste a selection and it gets bugged after rotating, try this: while it's still selected, cut it out and paste it again (Ctrl+X then Ctrl+V). This should fix it.

      @@flimmelflamm4404 Strange, what Windows do you use? Did you make sure you didn't reselect the bugged selection? The bug is a visual one as the box doesn't update correctly after rotating. So right after the rotation happens and you see the buggy box, cut it right away (it's still selected from rotating) and paste it again. Hope this helps, let me know if it doesn't.

    I did the Sierpinski Triangle, there are 19,863 tiny triangles on the one I made, if I tried to go any further my computer would probably crash.
    Edit: Never mind I managed to make it larger so it now has 59,049 triangles in it.

    This will sound absolutely crazy and *time consuming* , but you know DATABOTS? Do you think you can create a neural net that can produce non-midi music from a data set like a music playlist?

    • @Architector_4
      @Architector_4 6 років тому +2

      The "non-midi" thing just sparkled something in my mind. How about making a neural net that makes .MOD music?!
      I mean, it's pretty much midi music, but with its own samples. BUT, LIKE, MAKE IT GENERATE ITS OWN SAMPLES TOO LOLOL

      Sounds like a fun idea. I was originally trying to do that at some point, but I couldn't find any good databases of .MOD music for training. Do you know of any site where I can get thousands of them?

    • @Architector_4
      @Architector_4 6 років тому +2

      Yes! ModArchive.org I think has pretty much all .mod music there ever was!

    • @creeperlamoureux
      @creeperlamoureux 6 років тому +1

      modarchive.org is the first site that comes to mind. i found a few other 90's sites, but they're less organized and secure :\
      i'd be extremely careful downloading anything from these. safest bet would to just use modarchive.org ;-;
