one thing you forgot to mention. What kind of alcohol you used. If you extract DNA from strawberries you're supposed to use isopropyl alcohol. Just giving the tips.

I think it does not matter what kind of alcohol we use but it must be chilled.mostly we use ethanol or isopropyl alcohol (chilled)
