Great tie fly and commentary as your usual. I have both the Thompson and Matarelli style whip finishers and find the Matarelli was easier to use for me. Still trying to master the Thompson and using my fingers. Like your half hitch style need to try it with my bodkin as I have customarily used a tube over the eye. Theres not many days that go by without me tying a fly lately so its not been sat unused for a long period of time. Also, I have only started using the resins since last summer
