I have 2 jerry cans mounted on the drivers side. I use a shaker siphon to transfer the 10 gallons of fuel straight into the gas tank. I never need to remove the cans.
On my 2015 GMC long bed truck , my spare tire is hooked to passenger side of bed close to fender for rear tire. Makes it lots easier to get out if have flat tire and loaded with stuff plus can see behind me when needed. Will be checking to see if gas can will fit next to tire at trail gate
Rivnuts 😎👍 Think you could secure it safely with 4 bolts total, 2 up top and 2 on bottom provided they were diagonally installed. Nice bed installs so far. Going to have to look into that cargo system for me brother.

Hi, i really like that jerry can holder. With my set up, im gonna use a rock slide engineering straps that straps around my spare tire and bolt that can holder to it. Do you think this wavian jerry can holder will hold 20L of water? Thanks in advance.
What type of screws / bolts do you use for the install to stay in the floor and sidewall without using a bolt on the underside and back side of the truck bedwall??!! Please help!! What in the world is that black and orange tool you were using?!!
The wood seems like a great spacer but I know you wanted something more permanent. You could try to find a scrap piece of Trex decking or some other brand.
I have 2 Jerry Cans, the same style, and a dual holder for my truck. All were purchased through Front Runner Outfitters. Works perfectly and great quality. No issues with seals on Jerry Cans and the holder works phenomenally when mounting on the roof or in the bed without any rattling of any kind
@@b-lew777 anytime my friend! Definitely wouldn't recommend them if I myself didn't like them, they'll suit you well enough; also.. if you only need 1 5 gallon can, they of course make a holder for that too.
two questions- what kind of rims are those?? They r sweet! Also not sure how you were able to get the bolts to hold once you drilled the holes?? Thanks
mac tamminen those are the stock ZR2 wheels, and I use Rivet nuts, you can see me putting them in at 8:00 in this video, they clamp the sheet metal and leave a threaded nut
Which size rivet nuts did you go with given the weight of the carrier/can, plus fuel? Doing something similar with a dual jerry can carrier in the bed of my ZR2, but will only be able to mount on the bottom
I thought pow mia was disproven? There were no pows left in Vietnam. Don't get me wrong, I am a 10 year veteran and when I was much younger I even had a pow mia shirt. But it has been disproven.
POW stands for Prisoner of War, MIA stands for Missing in Action. Your statement makes no sense. My Grandfather spent 2 yrs as a Japanese POW. He knew a couple Airman never found that's MIA.
@@Dennis-wr4ws Dennis I mean no disrespect to any POW or MIA. And yes you are correct, pow and mia are true and correct words. What I am saying is that in 1972 the POW/MIA flag was created to honor the pow and mia left in southeast asia. The black pow/mia flag was not an all inclusive "lets honor pow mia," it was to further the idea that we had left pow and mia when we left Vietnam. This turned out to be "fake news." I thank your grandfather and all who have served this country in any and every capacity, but the black flag of POW/MIA is fake. And the fact that recently it has been added to state and federal building dishonors the very thing these people served to protect.
Always spray your drilled holes with primer to prevent rust.

Hi there, what is the tool name you are pushing the bolts opposite parts into the trucks bed?
Thank you
Nice. I’ve got an 8’ bed and this looks like a great solution
The roto paks look cool, but this is way cheaper and better in every way.
Coat your wood block with used motor oil. That will keep it from rotting and drying out. Then you won’t need a 3-d printed plastic block.
so you have to remove everything in front of can to remove it.

what was the tool you used to install the theaded rivets into the truck with?

Love the idea, but I'd be worried about someone contaminating my diesel with like water or something, how do you plan to protect against that?
Lol you stop being paranoid

If you watch my video titled “Drilling holes in my pickup bed” I show more clearly how the rivet nuts work! Thanks for checking out my channel!

It's sold out on the website? Any alternative places to find this or similar items?

Thanks for the post. Can you please provide a link to the can holder? Thanks.
its the Wavian heavy duty 20L frontload holder. you can get it on the same link to the fuel can, when they have it in stock.
@@JMS-online there sold out. Any other alternatives?
can this be mounted horizontally on a roof basket? 🤔
I believe it should be able to, the seal is very high quality, I would give WavianUSA a call just to be sure though

Dave Malia I did M8, I think it’s a good size, my toolbox’s are held to just the floor with 4 M8 bolts
What is that orange and black tool you were using for the bolts?
Nutcert
How are you doing with the 34 tires? Any issues. Still kicking it around.
Love them! Would definitely recommend pairing them with new gears and trifecta tune!
Can that fit under a hard bed cover?
It looks close.
It would definitely be close, sorry I can’t give you a for sure answer, it would probably depend on the brand of cover
Do a walk through of you bed set up
I covered it in my one year review video
Cool
Drilling holes? No thanks.
See, the problem is you’ve got a pavement princess. Some of us use our trucks to do truck stuff.
