What happened to Swede Savage and the course of it is the most gruesome mystery I have ever watched on film. Anyway, it is fantastic to hear and see all these fabulous drivers, many for the first time. Thankyou.

Henri Toivonen & Jarno Saarinen, two fast Finns 🇫🇮. Both died in their prime and they were likely also the fastest of their own sport in the world at the time they died. Many thought Saarinen was even better than Agostini. RIP both and all of these legends 🙏
Wonderful video throughout - you can’t account for the bravery/lunacy of these drivers! Nice to see Peterson and Ickx together who were sadly failed by the Lotus 76. Nice also to see interview with Giunti whose life was sadly ended in Buenos Aires on account of bad marshalling/mad Beltoise. Giunti had achieved much and promised a lot more!🤔
'Mad'!. Whenever the word comes to that homicidal behaviour I cannot find another answer, given B. was already out of his car and must have had time to sober up. And they let him go on racing. 😵
Sometimes an intense flame can only burn for a short time. RIP and thanks for the memories.
It’s crazy how many of these guys ended up losing their lives
Mad respect to the guys who raced in that era

Lovey, thank you. So fascinating actually to hear these brilliant people.
Holy fucking shit where did you find some of these Videos?!
Brilliant, including Nuvolari which makes it unique for me. And Paul Hawkins, Aussie to the core.
Thank you very much! Great video and tribute to the drivers. I was amazed by some of the interviews I'm seeing for the 1st time
Thanks, I enjoyed putting it together, glad you enjoyed it
Would you happen to have any Interviews with Tom Pryce and/or Roger Williamson(If there are any)?
I’ve never found a Williamson interview, but I did come across a Tom Pryce one on the Pryce Facebook group. Never found one on UA-cam unfortunately
Kinda a bummer knowing that a few that later have fatal crashes
So Jochen Rindt was 23 when he won '65 Lemans with Masten Gregory and Ed Hugus? Ricardo Rodriguez was 20 years old!
