2:34 my trick for remembering to write the correct units is understanding what is being solved for. Also, there are a _ton_ of formulas in physics, and some units rely on others.
8:34 From what I understand about the periodic table, ~92 elements are naturally occurring, and the rest only show up in particle accelerators and the like.
Actually, there're fewer than that; some have such short half-lives (viz., technetium, promethium, astatine, francium) that they (arguably) don't occur naturally in any significant amount. (The "arguably" refers to the fact that they can be found in minute amounts as a result of radioactive decay.)
I browse the facebook math and physics meme groups a lot. There are some really funny book quotes. The thermodynamics book introduction was really funny, was about boltzmann and some other dude who eventually killed themselves, then the paragraph concluded with "now it's our turn. perhaps we should proceed with some caution."
Re: Periodic table I think he's talking about the history of the periodic table, where it was nice and square for a while when we only knew a few elements, then all the actinides, super actinides, transition metals came in and threw off the beautiful symmetry.

Hey Andrew and Comment section, I have a life changing question. I am a senior and I want to be a theoretical Physicist. One of my state college has a full physics scholarship but it is not the most well known university and I want to get my PhD in a well known university so that I can have an opportunity to research there. So does majoring in physics in a relatively mediocre university(ACT 20-27) hurt my chances of getting into a PhD program of a highly acclaimed university like Princeton? Please Help.

Hey Andrew, I know you may not see this, but can you do a video about some smaller physics/math channels? Since you’re a fairly popular figure on the more rigorous side of the physics community on UA-cam, it would be amazing if you could make a video talking about 5 smaller channels that people should check out. That way, it helps the physics community as a whole and it helps people gain knowledge easier. Thanks!

Actually if you calculate it by the relation between mass of the nuclei and the orbitals around , and having the limits to be the strong coupling constant ( in points before the culomb potential ) , and electromagnetic coupling constant for orbitals , you see that the highest possible element would be element number 132 , after that you get really wired stuff like tachionic mass and imaginary spin fractions .
