Im not a feyenoord supporter but i can approve the atmosphere is alot more genuine and cooler in De Kuip. I dont like the ajax arrogance. The rest of all clubs i have nothing against 😅

Before I emigrated I used to have a season ticket at Ajax. First few years in the Arena I was in 413, so right above where you were sitting, and after two years I moved to 127, which is the 'f-side' on the other end. In those years away fans were still allowed to the games, I also have been to games in Rotterdam several times, and these 'klassiekers' absolutely were something special. I think from a supporter's perspective, even though there definitely is hatred between the groups, not having away fans there is not a good thing. because creating the atmosphere and cheering on your team is definitely fueled by the reaction from the supporters of the other team, and that has really been missing ever since the away supporters were banned from these games. Therefore I think while for the importance of the match, you definitely picked a good one to go to, but for showing the atmosphere at Dutch football, probably the match between PSV and either of these two teams would be better (and yes, as an Ajax fan I would hope you would than still pick Ajax against PSV and wear that scarf, but as a fan of your channel I just honestly hope that you get to experience the atmosphere of fans from both teams going against each other in singing and chanting support for their side.
I could understand how having the opposing fans makes the atmosphere 10x crazier. I'll definitely make my way over to a match with opposing teams🙌🏾 appreciate you watching!

Another great video. Seeing a BIG game like this is definitely on my bucket list. Gotta say though the thing I noticed most, has nothing to do with football. One of the truly great charms about the Dutch, is their love of singing together. OK, OK, yeah the beer is flowing and it's pre-game so it's expected, but whether it's a smaller bar gathering, a party, a holiday celebration in the town square, the Dutch will break out in song. Hele mooie video weer had niks van het voetbal gezien dit weekend. Was wel in Amsterdam gister voor Rugby Nederland -Duitsland mooie overwinning 50-28. Echt leuk dat je moeder naar Nederland komt veel plezier samen!

yo je was bij een lauwe wedstrijd man. zeker een keerjte bij feyenoord komen kijken!
Ik vond het leuk! Maar ik zal probeeren bij Feyenoord te kijken.
4-0, 5-2 en “Feyenoord gaat eraan” 😂. Ze zingen nu wel een toontje lager want wie is de beste? Feyenoord! 😊. Je spreekt trouwens erg goed Nederlands. Super gaaf dat je naar die wedstrijden gaat. Hoop dat je naar de kampioenswedstrijd van Feyenoord gaat, dat is een geweldige sfeer. Hopen dat het qua sfeer in de kuip gebeurd en niet bij Excelsior.

Dit is precies wat ik bedoel, die grote mond van een Jammerdam fan. Denken dat een ander aan grootheidswaan lijdt terwijl het feit is dat een miljoenenclub zich laat afbluffen door een budgetair mindere club. Dan ben je als minder rijke club verhoudingsgewijs beter dan zo’n gemaakte club 😉. Feijenoord op karakter en vechtlust. Liever dan het aanmoedigen van zo’n nepclubbie 😊.

Ajax is a great team I am a life time fan of Feyenoord, but the duals are normally very ecxiting. They really need eachother. Have a great time here.
As an American that speaks Italian and Spanish gotta say im impressed by your Dutch. I dont speak it, but you seem to be borderline fluent. I learned Italian in a small town where nobody speaks English, bd Spanish working in kitchens and bars in NYC. Dutch seems hard to learb because basically everyone speaks perfect English. How did you get tickets, was it easy because of the absence of the Feyenoord fans? Did you go alone or with your girlfriend or a friend?
I knew a few of the songs that are shown in clips in the stadium, but outside of that, I didn't know the other songs haha. I got tickets through 4alltickets.nl. And I went by myself. :)

How did you get the ticket?
You can just order tickets online prior to the matches on the websites of the clubs themselves. Usually this particular match tends to sell out relatively fast compared to other matches, so you will have to know when ticket sales start for your preferred match (which is usually indicated on the website of the club).

Can you get threatened in the US as well if you wear the wrong sports shirt in certain cities? Because that's what can happen if you wear a shirt from Ajax in Rotterdam (Feyenoord) and vice versa. It's crazy but unfortunately happens.
It's usually not that serious in the US, but there are some teams who are known for having fights, for example the American Football team "the Raiders". They're now a team in Vegas, but used to be in Oakland, and if you look up videos, you'll probably see some fights haha.

Joking aside, how do they know that you are not a Feyenoord fan when buying a ticket? If you , as a newcomer can get a ticket, what prevents 100 Feyenoord fans to do the same? Are they all registered somehow? How does the government or the clubs track this?
