Thousands of NATO paratroopers from 17 countries are taking part in a large-scale training exercise called Swift Response 24, stretching across Europe from the Baltic states all the way to the Balkans. This month-long exercise, involving over 13,000 troops, showcases the alliance's ability to respond swiftly and effectively to crises in any corner of Europe.

Hi, nice to see that the Jumpmaster put the 3 Para mortars bloke in front of the Starboard Stick. Usually they get them to stand in the doorway so that they can just fall out, no way can those blokes walk with the loads they carry. #respect! I hope the DZ had lots of ambulances on standby, they will need them. Saw a few parachutes tangled and a few that didn’t deploy their containers. Don’t want to see landings with that bulk strapped to one leg! Anyway, a good show as the Brits say. Cheers mate Harera

23 years ago I served as paratrooper in Germany during army service. For parachuting I got 150 German Marks (not fucking Euros) extra 🤑
It takes a special kind of 'right stuff' to jump out of a perfectly good chopper or airplane, and as a free fall, hoping your chutes work. I couldn't do it.
