They are from Puerto Rico and they are considered to be more like a reggae genre or style. SO good!! Puerto Rico hold your flags, Lewis is coming for ya!
There’s is an immense pride Puerto Rican’s feel for what is ours. We support EVERYTHING that comes from our little piece of heaven. We’ll make anything that comes with our flag stamped popular. By the way I’m so happy you have an interest for our culture...our stories and battles are carried trough our music. Salsa will tell you the tales of yesterday while music like this is history in the making.
Cultura Profética has more than 20 years of trajectory and they have given voice to the minorities, specifically in their mainland Puerto Rico, to fight the system. Their lyrics are based a lot on social criticism and on pointing out the beauty of nature, sex and the feminine body. They have always been a "revolutionary" group for always patronizing that peopoe should protest against their governments. Obviously giving their tropical touch.
Yeaaaaahhh! Cultura profética it’s my favorite band. It’s amazing. They’re a Puerto Rican band since 1995 and they have fought for the Latino rights and Puerto Rico culture. Their music it’s so good because the musicians are very professional. I’ve been in their concerts and you have goosebumps all the time. They made me cry of how beautiful their music is.
Believe me when I say that, if you hear more from Cultura Profética, you will love them. They are a top-of-the-line musicians, here in Puerto Rico. And they are VERY well known in the WHOLE extent of Latinoamérica. Greetings.

Cultura Profetica is the best reggae band of LatinAmerica, hands down! This is music for the soul. They've come to Costa Rica many times and their live music is incredible!
You should totally listen to “la espera” from cultura profética. It’s a more stripped down song, but it’s pretty dope. Their other big hit is “ilegal”, and it’s more in line with la complicidad’s sound. They’re dope afffff
This is a song from the álbum “La Dulzura” which is an absolut masterpiece. Definetely the best reggae album in spanish. I recommend you listen to the whole album. They also have a couple of great albums like M.O.T.A and Diario. They have been a very activist band touching topics like inequality, vanity, and social awakening. For their album “La dulzura” they wanted to convey a lighter, more romantic, happier message. In the first song of the album “Rimas pa seducir” Willy talks about this collection of songs being about seduction love and happiness. Best regards from Venezuela, keep up the good work. I would like to recommend you to listen to Flamigo - La vida boheme, a song from an awesome venezuelan band. The whole “Nuestra” álbum is great.
"Llueve Sobre la Ciudad" it's by Los Bunkers, another chilean band, but it was formed in the 90's, Los Prisioneros have a lot of good music though: Paramar, El Baile de los que Sobran, Estrechez de Corazón, Corazones Rojos, etc. ❤🇨🇱
Is not that would be from an empty put, it's because that's how peace feels. This song and every Cultura Profetica song makes you feel peace with yourself❤ love your reaction, new sub👍🏼
OMG I touched his hair and it was the smoothest, freshest and most amazing thing in the whole world. It was a single dreadlock that reached almost to the ground and he was very nice when I asked him if I could touch it in an afterparty of a concert in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. My today's husband played bass in a band whit some of our friends at a film festival to open the Cultura Profetica concert, in fact I and the girlfriends of the other musicians in the band took care of buying everything they needed so they had something to eat and drink before the concert. I was very high by the time the music started and that's why I dared to ask him if I could touch his hair ( of course I wasn't thinking clearly, lol). The only thing that I remember is that in the afterparty the whole band was incredible, down to earth and very awesome. I remember asking a guy from the band to please make sure they played my favorite song at the concert and they did, it was a super special moment for me, as my boyfriend (today husband) was from the band I was dancing along with my friends without anyone bothering us a few steps from them, really a night to remember. The song was 'Nadie se atreve'. 🥰

I am impressed by the way you feel about music and express your ideas and perceptions about it, your feeling is very special and I love it. I loved that precise and magical description of the empty bar with this kind of music, it felt exactly like you. I really enjoy your videos, you are by far my favorite youtuber. You make me feel, enjoy, laugh, think ... and that's just wonderful ❤️
Love that you Think that they are an alternative band while i spend 3 hours in line to see them perform live. That’s the Beauty of it. Music for the soul as you say. Keep It up Lewis! Love from Uruguay
I love this song! I recommend you to listen to "Saca, prende y sorprende" by Cultura profética. My guess about why this kind of music has so many views is because of the fact that latin America is not only a very diverse and large continent but also people in here are very "musical" like, we are used to listen to music everywhere and everyday, so music is part of our indentity and we just enjoy it a lot. Like it is common in here hear very different music playing loud while walking on a regular street, or passing by a restaurant, a gas station, a salon, etc. We love music and we pretty much do as much activities we can while dancing and/or singing.
Hi Lewis, I've been expecting for your reactions all week, their quite addicted and you're so honest hahaha. You should listen to gondwana "sentimiento original" , it's a chilean reggae band, I'm not sure if it has a music video, but I think you'll enjoy it. 😌😘
Hi! I se some of your reaction's videos today for the first time. I decided to comment because I couldn't believe that you recognized Puerto Rican flag. I was so excited when I heard you say it. Thank you. 🇵🇷😉
I saw another comment recommending the same song, but yeah: you should react to Sin Ti by Cultura Profética and Rawayana. Rawayana is a reggae (I think, mostly) group from Venezuela. This song is a cover, honouring another Venezuelan-American group called King Changó
Now every time you react to an artist(s) form my island, I am reminded of you mentioning how much talent comes from Puerto Rico. And that's on any genre and artistic medium. Kinda can't let that pass. Makes me proud. 🥰
The complicity is so much, that our vibrations complement each other. What you have is what I'm missing and what I have, makes you more complete. One of my all time favorite. ❤️
Fortunately I met Cultura Profética in March and the truth is that they can be heard very well live, seeing them was my dream since I was 15 years old, they just opened the show with "La complicidad" and I almost started to cry because I couldn't believe I was seeing my second favorite band. I liked your reaction to this gem of a song
You will fly with "La Espera" by Cultura Proféctica as well, and let me recommend you a super classic and representative song of Mexican rock: "La célula que explota" by Caifanes

The complicity

and when you name me you feel it so
I am the new alternative against contamination
And you are the energy that carries me
I am a grove that gives shade to your homeland
A soft wind that blows on your face
Of all your dreams, black woman, I am the demostration
You are a dream of freedom.
I am the serenity that carries to a stage of meditation
And you are that sacred mantra
I am the juice that lowers your pressure
and everytime its up, you call me
Trhow the sheet get out of bed
lets conquer all the house
Of all the things you are used to - I am contradiction
I believe thats what calls you.
The complicty is such
that our vibrations complement each other
what you have I need
and what I have makes you more complete
The affinity is so much
I look your eyes and I know what you think
I love you because you are whole
beautiful little things that make me believe that I am
The yeast that makes your heart grow
and you the vitamin I need
I am that dew that sits on your vegetation

I am the white sand that carpet your beach
All the foliage that gives life to your map

and what I have makes you more complete

beautiful little things that make me feel so good
I am the madness that stirs,
I am your adiction and you are my happiness, my calm
I am a colony searching for freedom
and you are that dose of hope
I am the range that in the distance
cures your vision with his elegance
of all the crazy men who try I am the frustration
and you are that challenge wich I love
The complicity is such
that our vibrations complement each other
what you have I need
and what I have makes you more complete
The affinity is so much

I love this song! I recommend you to listen to "Saca, prende y sorprende" by Cultura profética. My guess about why this kind of music has so many views is because of the fact that latin America is not only a very diverse and large continent but also people in here are very "musical" like, we are used to listen to music everywhere and everyday, so music is part of our indentity and we just enjoy it a lot. Like it is common in here hear very different music playing loud while walking on a regular street, or passing by a restaurant, a gas station, a salon, etc. We love music and we pretty much do as much activities we can while dancing and/or singing.
No lo había pensado, pero tienes toda la razón! Creo que nunca ha pasado un día de mi vida sin música
Lucho!!!! Loving your channel. Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
So glad you loved it 💕🇵🇷 they've been around since 1996 and have many hits that are considered classics on the island
You should react to
"Que calor" - Major Lazer, J balvin, el alfa
"Una vaina loca" - Fuego
Deberías reacciónar a Jeremías 17: 5 de Canserbero, con la letra. 🥺
Hi Lewis, I've been expecting for your reactions all week, their quite addicted and you're so honest hahaha. You should listen to gondwana "sentimiento original" , it's a chilean reggae band, I'm not sure if it has a music video, but I think you'll enjoy it. 😌😘
Cultura profetica is music to the soul, im happy you got to know this beautiful band!
Woow
Que chido que hayas escuchado esta canción !
Es hermosa 😊❤️
Hey! What about react to "La Tortura" from Shakira ft Alejando Sanz ?
Like si quieren ver un inglés reaccionar a un cumbion como "una ráfaga de amor" porque yo si quiero
Listen "carmesí" - Vicente García, is beautiful!
Listen to BOMBA ESTEREO if you want a different sound "Somos dos" "To my love"
Nice video! react to Danny ocean- me rehuso
YESS

The lyrics from this song, I listen to this song and automatically it feels like being at the beach. With love from Chile 🇨🇱 ❤️
Listen “llorona” - Ángela Aguilar. Im from Mexico ✌️
"Jamaican George Michael" Lol xDDD
As someone who grew up on Cultura Profetica this makes me so freakin happy
I looove to find people that can enjoy and find beauty in many different musical styles
