a fun thing to do is when your tank is doomed e.g turret is broken, tank is on fire with only 1 crew left, you can charge your tank into the enemy and use it either to seal off objectives, block chokepoints for enemy tanks e.g you can you it to funnel enemies down a narrow street, you can use the hull to provide cover for other squads

I played tanks in Wot, War Thunder, T34 vs Tiger (old simulation game), Arma II and Arma III. I can proudly say i am veteran when it comes to tank tactics.

love these videos i have just downloaded it for X box XS and its great. I have just unlocked the PJN III N short barrel and can't wait for panther and Tiger.. Im Scottish but the German's had the best of everything from Clothing to weaponry

Great video with tips. My tanks are low level because I do not pay to play and so the grind is huge to advance anywhere meaningful. One hateful thing about this game is the AI, which is the most stupid I have ever seen. Plus this game is the only one I have ever played where you actually get punished by demotion if your team keeps losing. I hate that. Plus many people don't bother talking or spotting ... so as a bomber or tanker it is frustrating often to have to spot enemies yourself or randomly fire where you might hit something.

If you think the enlisted grind is hard then try Warthunder, made by the same dev in 2013, it is infamous for its grind. I am at br 11.0 and it is the most painful ever.😢

I know this is an older video, but id like to make a comment and open a discussion.
First, tank defense vs offense strategy, and tank supported infantry squads, vs single player tankers.
So earlier this week i got a kill on a pz4 and a big cat with nothing but a shovel.
By simply digging a ditch around it then spooking the player into trying to run/gun me, which resulted in both of them either nose up or nose down in a ditch. Plus the few times ive accidentally ditched friendoy tanks by not marking AT ditches I've dug.
I believe defensively, a lot of players do not understand how to properly implement armored fighting positions.
Which leads me to having engineers and tankers working as teams, a team of 2 engineers and one tank can create a defensive position that locks down an entire approach to an objective. One of the most effective tactics is to dig in the tank on a small hill with shooting lanes carved into the hill by the engineers. This completely protects the tank from incoming fire, and helps not only conceal it from other tabks and infantry, but also protects it from bombs, and with engineers (MG team engieer and a mortar team prefferably), you can use the MG and tank to lay down fire from range as the engineers dig the fighting position, set up guns, and mark targets for the tank crew, eventually turning the position into a fortified forward spawn, protected by MGs, mortars, and a big cat thats hull is protected by having itself placed into a hull down position, with a couple infantry to cover it from enemy close AT, and also to repair it if ut takes a hit in comvat, so the tank can keep up fire.
Also, another tabk crew can hop into your tank if you have at least 1 crew alive, meaning you can have a gunner, and driver/MG person that can focus on seperate targets.
This game has a lot of potential if they can resolve some of the mechanics, like my AT gun or tank sometimes clipping with the ground when i put them in a dug in fighting position.

I really hope the jumbo 76 mm is added. All us tanks suffer , there is nothing that can destroy tiger except p47 hvars

If that gets added in be sure that they will add a king tiger h for germans.

or just give the jumbo apcr (the premium jumbo has this shell), which is able to penetrate a tiger from the front
