- DaVinci Resolve is by far the best free video editing software out there. Creators definitely need to give it a try if they are trying to make higher quality TikToks and UA-cam shorts. For anybody reading the comments, it’s super easy to jump from adobe premier to da Vinci resolve. After finishing school, I’m too poor to afford adobe. This isn’t the exact same, but it’s similar enough to jump into with few issues

For people asking about the watermark, yes there is one. It depends on the effects you’re using like Optical Flow or Denoiser, you’ll have a watermark on all the screen.
now theres no watermark? i use free version and i use all those features
@@sensevenz maybe, I don’t know now because I don’t use it anymore, I need after effects and fusion can’t keep up at all so I gave up with resolve

@@tengenmio945Ive always found fusion to be far more intuitive after you figure out how to use it. Nodes are really great for their reusability and in my personal opinion, straight forwardness. Every node has inputs and outputs. Want to add a blur? Then just connect your media to the input of the blur node and then output it back into the timeline. Its very "linear". Basically like a big arrow pointing to what and where, yknow?. And ofc theres the reusability. You can plug a mask output into mutliple other nodes to apply a mask to all of them at once, no need for copy and paste and all you need to do is adjust that one mask to effect the whole thing.
This is just my opinion though. The layer based approach of After effects definitely has its upsides but itll always be nodes for me

Don't use a davinchi resolve. It crashed so hard after the latest update that I lost a ton of footage that I edited. I had to redo everything

The thing with davinci resolve is that the audio and video don't sync well like after effects auto sync i have to use a separate software to sync my audio and video properly

@@TheGreat_Blud Sure, I could have learned it in 1 month, but I did it occasionally, not routinely, so it took 4x the amount of time it should have taken. Also, after 4 months I would say I had quite a bit of knowledge surrounding the software.
