    Please read:
After a lot of back and forth about what to do with my short ebook, I decided I did not want to charge for it. Indeed I put a lot of hours into it and it was difficult for me to sit down and write, as was the entire day I spent recording it and editing it - it was challenging reading it all and then hearing it all back whilst editing!
ADHD is as a disability, and imo the world around us still tends to be ableist and at the least quite unjust to those with disabilities. I was never writing this book to earn money. It was the message that counts and I hope I make that clear. For purposes of full transparency, there will be ads on this video but I will select the option to have them at the beginning and the end only.
The written version is imperfect but I will try to finalise it and have it as a free PDF on my website at some point as I know listening might not work for everyone - I struggle with audiobooks at times as my mind wanders. I just wanted it done and out into the world, rather than just looking at it regularly and continuously going back to edit it and make it more true or try to make it perfect. This will never happen! I am not a writer... just someone with a story I wanted to share. Some of it doesn't flow right I believe but in the end, it's the story that matters and the message I want to get across. I decided to put video clips in, mostly of nature, rather than having a plain screen, as I thought it might be more interesting. However, be aware they do loop around a couple of times as I didn't have enough!!
All the best to my fellow ADHD warriors!

I just finished listening. I think your words are profound, and the way that you describe your experience is beautiful. I appreciate being given the opportunity to see the world through the lens of that experience, and I admire your resilience despite facing such debilitating circumstances. You're strong, and you've got a lot to offer the world. Many of the things that you said brought me to tears, as they feel familiar in the realm of my own experiences; even the parts that I didn't necessarily relate to, made me feel for what you've been through. I'm grateful to learn from you. If I may offer this, I am proud of you for all of the work that you've done in finding your authentic self, and in healing the things which will allow you to do that with clarity.

Thank you for this! Just wondering if you've done any research into autism presentations in females as well?

Yes I have done a lot of research! I've also been doing research recently into narcissistic abuse/trauma/cptsd especially as a child. There's a lot of overlap with the two and I fit the latter much more and it can explain a lot of my issues that tend to come up so much more when triggered. However, I haven't completely written off autism as a potential for myself. I know that's not what you asked exactly. And thank you for listening to it, it means a lot.
